Great Food for our post memorial service. I have never been to Republica but was very pleased. Great service and very friendly.

Love the place, but the food was not good. We got an entire head of cauliflower as an appetizer that was tremendously undercooked, as were the toppings. It took 20m in an oven at home to get it where it was no longer raw. I really wanted this to be the place, because Berkley does not have enough good upscale dining.

Foods a bit overpriced but lots of care taken for gluten free offerings. Will likely visit again to try other menu items.

It's a 'gastro pub'. The food is . . . Meh.
But, it's a nice place and the staff is good.

Ma's meatloaf was outstanding. A tad on the salty side, but overall a very tasty dish with huge portions. The mashed potatoes were perfection. I opted for broccoli in lieu of the brussel sprouts and they were charred and delightful. The service was friendly from the front of the house to our server. Noise level was a tad on the higher side but didn't impede having a conversation. The price for the meatloaf was a bit steep at $28. However, the portion allowed for two meals.

The atmosphere is loud but that is fine, just know that before you go and are hoping for a quiet evening. The service was nice. The service were very friendly and overall helpful. The food was priced a bit on the high side for the quality. I ordered a burger called "The Revolution". It wasn't very well seasoned and it was a bit on the overcooked side. I ordered it medium rare and it was more like medium well. The bacon on the burger was super tasty. The burger came with an egg on top that also was over cooked. I ordered the tater tots with it and they were good but not very hot when they came to the table so they got cold quickly and then were much less appetizing. Overall, not bad. I would probably give this place at least one more try and hopefully it would be better next time. My friend that I was with ordered salmon and said it was absolutely delicious. So maybe they have some items that are much better than others. Still, check this place out. Everyone inside seemed to be having a good time.

Dietary restrictions: They offer GF bread for all their sandwiches.

First off all, Berkley! If you don’t know, figure it out. BERKLEY ROCKS!!!
In keeping with the vibe, Republica does, too. Chill, comfy, great menu: check it out! It’s a cozy size but the fare busts at the seams! The menu items’ descriptions will make you rhapsodic and your starter, hand - held, salad or entree choice will not disappoint. Cocktails? Yeah, and they’re ALL that!
Service? May I introduce you to Caleb and Christine? You’ll feel like you have the place to yourself.
GREAT FOOD. GREAT SERVICE. GREAT LOCATION. GREAT EXPERIENCE.

I'll be back to this place. Caught my eye online as being near a business meeting. It worked out great for a casual bite after work with our associates. Our local client had never been there. Diverse menu of interesting offerings - definately not a "pedestrian" food, but not super Far-Out either. Christine took very good care of us, the staff all seem like folks you'd want to have a beer with.

Pretty disappointed about this experience. The restaurant was busy, which I completely understand delayed service. However, we were sat for 30 minutes and were never acknowledged by the server. Instead, she acknowledged the table next to us that was sat 30 minutes after we were. We left immediately after that.
