The Rind Reviews
Tried this place for the first time today! Rider was my server and he was absolutely amazing. Knowledgeable funny and sweet. Genuinely had such a good time just being in his presence and he was very attentive! Tried the flaming fig, although without the jam. Didn't personally find it too spicy without the jam, although my friend found it slightly spicy with the jam. Either way it was the most delicious grilled cheese ever. Great wine selection, and don't be afraid to try the espresso...read full review
Everything our table got was delicious!!! Also shout out to their Bloody Marys! So good!
Had an absolutely fabulous dinner at The Rind on Saturday. It does not matter what you get - small plates or entrees - the food is fabulous. I particularly loved the short ribs and jamon and melon. Our waiter, Echoo, was equally amazing. Took great care of us, answered all our questions, and was crazy attentive without being overbearing. The Rind is a neighborhood gem with a small but delicious menu. The ambience is laid back and cool, making it perfect for a meal with friends. The staff are welcoming and attentive, with one server described as knowledgeable, funny, and sweet. The atmosphere is awesome, and the chef's passion for food shines through in every dish. Popular choices include the lamb and fennel, steak, potatoes, and the olive oil cake. The food is often described as "killer," with standout dishes such as Fatty Meat and Cheese, Spring Salad, Beautiful Beans, Pretty Potatoes, and Braised Duroc Pork Shank. Vegetarian options like the morel-asparagus combination and polenta are always delicious. Guests have enjoyed the whitefish, which is outstanding and served in large portions, perfect for sharing. The wine list is eclectic and well-curated, featuring options like Bandol Rose. Don't miss trying the espresso drink made with blood orange soda. Guests can also explore Mongers Provision next door for exotic goods like licorice, chocolate, vinegars, and tinned fish. Reservations are recommended due to the small space filling up quickly.
