Went here yesterday for dinner. It’s not the Vinsetta Garage that I remember from back in the day. Quality of food and service has went way down. Burgers were $20 a pop. They tasted like frozen burgers not fresh burgers. I don’t mind paying that much for a burger, but I don’t appreciate paying $20 for a frozen burger. It was overcooked, dry and bland. The wings were horrible. They were overcooked and dry.
Service: They were shortstaffed. There were only two servers for the entire restaurant. Our server had bad customer service. She was very short and dismissive and forgot things. She wouldn’t even glance at our table most times to see if everything was OK. After the food was delivered, she didn’t check back on us to make sure that we had everything. I understand she was busy so I do give her a pass. We waited for mayo for 25 minutes for our burger by that time the burger was cold so the manager ended up comping us for the burger.
Overall: You can have bad food, however you can’t have bad food and bad service. We will not be back.

I'm incredibly disappointed looking at the menu. They seem to be moving to a pizza and burger restaurant. They used to have high end entrees. Kind of seems like a casual lunch destination at this point. Did they lose a career chef or two and transition to simple cooks instead of chefs?
There are like three entrees now. Back when this was a food channel restaurant, I believe they had mostly entrees. What's with all the pizza and burgers and Mac-cheese?
Single moms cook these dishes for their kids. The whole menu is a lunch or kids menu now apparently. Bring back the intricate high end entrees, make an actual dinner menu.
What a disappointment for a long time customer checking in after a long delay. What happened to this place.

My salt had no fries on it. But the rest of the food was DELISH and Kelly our server was a delight. Can’t get enough of the pizza 🍕 and the burgers 🍔

Stopped in for an early dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed the draft beer list — hard to find places that truly know a selection that their customers will enjoy. Chatted with the manager for a bit (Bram?) and found out he’s quite the beer guy. It shows! Will most definitely come back for a bite and a beer cheer to Bram.

I remember back in the 70s when you ate in cars. Soooo cool and fun. Now it's just mediocre. But the food was good and they had an amazing vegan burger. Will be back. Bring back the cars 😀

Arrived on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch and was told there would be a 20-30 minute wait. 30 minutes later we were told our table was being cleaned and it would be a few more minutes. 15 minutes after that we were told they couldn't seat us due to issues with the building's power and their POS system. They also said they would have to close early because of these problems. As we left they were still taking orders and seating other customers. Out of curiosity, I called them a few hours later to see how late they would be open and was told 10pm...
I don't know if it was a simple case of miscommunication between staff members but the entire experience felt dishonest.
Very cool place. The vibe is chill and the food is fantastic. Next time I go I will absolutely be getting the Mac n cheese.

Make sure if going in winter time to not sit next to the old garage doors as I could see outside though them and the cold came though. Service was good but didn't check on you often and food was good but it's mostly pizza and burgers.

Food was good not great. The homemade chips were cooked to varying degrees. Had specialty pizza loaded baked potato, interesting. Looks like they could also freshen up the decor. Bathrooms showing their age. Service was fast and friendly

I love Vinsetta Garage . Thank god happy hour is back. I do miss the 2008 era priced tacos from the old happy hour: 2 for $5???? Crazy! But the new menu makes more sense. It’s more on the normal end now and Bram the funny manager guy really listens to the customers. My beer was cold, my loaded chips were loaded, my bill was reasonable. Happy hour is back, and I will be too. Long live the (ga)rage! Can’t wait for Dream cruise!

Great food, same as all restaurants these days. The chef is excellent though, burger cooked perfectly. Great fries too. Pretty loud but not too horrible. Decent bathrooms, with cool interior design everywhere.
