The staff here is awesome. I live in the area and breakfast is amazing. But I’m also a door dasher and every time I pick up they offer me water and are so patient and kind. This is how every place should feel.
I have been dining here since its original owner JR Henderson established it in the 1970s. Food is homemade, and it’s fabulous!! The daily specials are amazing. I order them often. I highly recommend this restaurant. I always say that if you knew of a place like Dixie Cafe along American Highways your travels would be better. Cannot wait to return.
I never expected a non polish themed eatery to have excellent kielbasa, but they do. Even tho they cooked them on too hot of grille, still delicious. The waffles have excellent flavor, enough so that ill give the crispiness a pass. If they were not super crispy, they would be better than bigboys!
Been going here for years for lunch & dinner but wow id rather have breakfast here if i had to choose. Looking forward to my next meal here.
