The bathroom was outdated but clean! The handicapped stall had an out of order sign posted on it. The working stall was cool, the toilet was short, petite, and little people friendly. I am only 4ft 9in and my feet could touch the floor, which almost never happens!
The staff here is awesome. I live in the area and breakfast is amazing. But I’m also a door dasher and every time I pick up they offer me water and are so patient and kind. This is how every place should feel.
I have been dining here since its original owner JR Henderson established it in the 1970s. Food is homemade, and it’s fabulous!! The daily specials are amazing. I order them often. I highly recommend this restaurant. I always say that if you knew of a place like Dixie Cafe along American Highways your travels would be better. Cannot wait to return.
