“Oh Happy day, this place closed months ago and was put up for sale. This great Greek family just reopened Monday, we had to visit. Yes same family, Ma & Pa with the daughter welcome all those long time customers with a smile. Thanks Sidney our superstar waitress, you a keeper. Check they Facebook page everyday for Specials. Had a outstanding sandwich named the Smokestack OMG. Corned Beef, Ham n Turkey on Toasted thick Greek Bread with Cheese and sauce. A true gut stuffer, could barely finish it. She had the half Deep Fried Chicken spot on delicious. Marvelous Bean n Ham Soup made in house. This folks a Downriver Gem , place been a restaurant over 80 years with different names. Easy to find just a hundred yards off I-75 the Rockwood exit. Spotless clean everything and friendly staff, a must visit. “Hands down the best burger! I’ve had burgers all over the place but this one must have crack in it because it was addictive from the first bite! Perfectly cooked, amazingly huge and down to the pickles, tomato and lettuce, fresh, crispy and on point!

One woman behind the bar and waitressing and another on the grill as the “Master of Meat”, this place is a local dive sensation!

The only reason I gave it 4 stars on atmosphere is because drunk people (like my sister, uncle and Aunt Kamala) are always annoying and should just stay home.

“The food was good, the cashier that took our order was very friendly and helpful. The restroom was disgusting!! Two stalls were dirty and not flushed, and the third didn't lock. The restroom is part of the gas station, not the burger king, but they should still make sure the gas station owner is keeping it clean.”

“All I can say is WOW!!! This is truly a Mom and Pop hole in the wow, and likely some of the best Almond Boneless Chicken I've had in terms of flavor! I made the "mistake" of ordering a dinner sized portion, thinking that the lunch size wouldn't be enough, but I was mistaken by a long shot. I wish I lived out this way as I'd likely order at least once a week!”

“My boss took me and a few other guys here for dinner and it was the best Lebanese/food I have ever had. The owner and his son’s service was almost better than the food! I decided to bring my wife here a week after and the experience was exactly the same. Very kind workers and the best Lebanese/food I have ever had! “The absolute best little bakery and cafe. Everything and I mean everything is delicious. It’s all home made from scratch and so so so good. It’s one of those places you can take anybody to and they’ll find something yummy to eat. It feels so good to be able to go out with my little daughter and be able to feed her good food she actually is excited to eat. A very special place!

Kid-friendliness: They are SO good about your littles. My girl loves everything there, cookies, sandwiches, soups, quiche. The staff is super kid-friendly. We go so often, my 2 year old girl loves them all!”

There's 3 people in line with my husband and no one is there so people start leaving.. so finally they pop put from the back and the girls says they aren't getting "blah blah blah cause I'm not cleaning blah blah blah" and my husband says nevermind and the guy working was like no it's fine I'll make it. I don't get why you are working at and ice cream stand at 630 at night if you don't wanna do your job? she was rude and unprofessional. unsure if it's the new ownership or the people they hire.”

“It was my first time here and I gotta say it lives up to the hype. First of all our waitress was amazing she was so nice and joyful she made it super a super pleasant experience (I don’t remember her name but she had a red bow in her hair). I had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and I am not lying when I say this was probably the best I’ve ever had my boyfriend had the chicken parm he really liked it. We will be back 100% worth the money. If you’re wanting to celebrate something special or feel like treating yourself and trying something new this is the place !”

But without me asking, the General Manager, Laura, took care of it. Dinner was really good. Our waitress was Jennifer. She's the best. Consistent, friendly, and she is a really good server.
