“The service was great! The food was simple but cooked right, and paired with the correct dressings/dipping sauces. I don't know why people think that to be a "foodie" you need dishes with a million ingredients! This place does it right! The zucchini fries and homemade dip were delicious, my mom got a salmon salad that looked and tasted great, I got a BLT but now that I know they can really cook I'm going for the chicken cordon bleu next time. Reminds me of the Oaken Bucket in a sense because it's good honest simple but unique! Will be back!”

“We went there yesterday. It's bad weather so maybe we should have called to see if they were open but we didn't. Their Google page doesn't give hours but it doesn't say they are closed either. We got there and there was a private event going on so we where a little surprised and it was a bit awkward. Either way, they were happy to accommodate us however they could. We purchased a bottle and got out of their way. In the process we were very happy to learn that they are under new ownership. They are still working out their schedule, and I assume how to work and update things like a Google listing. We're excited to see what the new owners do with the place. Over the last few years it's felt very cookie cutter and unwelcomeing so hopefully that improves. Good luck to the new owners.”

“These were amazing! The “pizza” was huge and will literally be four meals! The torta was big and juicy! Our 9 year old got the quesadilla and when made to try it with the consume demanded his own little cup! We’ll definitely eat here again!”

“Domaine Berrien Cellars have been around a long time, and they’ve been producing top quality wines for just as long. You can see this when you enter their modest tasting room. All of their award winning wines run the entire length of the tasting room. The Sauvignon blanc was a highlight, rich, bright, slight cat pee smell.”

“I am a volunteer sorting craft items and am amazed almost every time by the neat craft things we receive and get to put out for sale. Fabric, yarn, craft kits, scrapbooking albums, tools, paper and more!! Recently there were a whole collection of stamping ink pads in so many different colors. And it is a THEIFT store so the prices are well below retail. Also you never know what you will find so come often!”

“Out and about we got a craving for an icee. Machines were down at every station we stopped. Had almost given up when we stopped here for gas. To our surprise, every machine was operational. Definitely hit the spot. The lady at the checkout, shorter blond woman, was rocking it. It was pretty busy and she kept her cool and took care of business. There was some confusion about the price of something we got but she made it right and we left in high spirits and feeling good about humanity again. I'd give this place 10 stars 🤩”

I told them I wanted so fresh that they burned me. the guy laughed in the mic and made a stupid joke. when I got to the window he continued to laugh at me and told me everyone was laughing at me. when I got my fries they were not fresh. no oil was on the fries. they must of stuck them in the microwave. they tasted old as well.”

“The carne asada was tender and flavorful but not salty-perfectly made. The jalapeños are a beautiful touch to the tortas (had mine without sour cream and added mayo instead). Lastly, the fresh water (agua Fresca) was delicious and I was even given the option to mix lime & chia flavor with the cucumber lime flavor 🍋‍🟩. I will definitely be back to eat! “This restaurant is in a location which has been a gathering spot in Buchanan since 1947. Much of the original décor has been maintained but some parts of the interior have been modernized to satisfy current foods. The owners and staff are pleasant, aim to please and work hard. It is worth a stop for the ice cream at the soda fountain, if nothing else.”
