We stopped by on our way through town because Mexican food sounded good. We were blown away by the quality of the food and the friendly staff. The salsa was incredible and all the food we ordered was delicious. Our server made a genuine effort to engage us in conversation and showed genuine interest in what we talked about. The only negative thing I can say is that Melendez Imports is too far away from home to eat there in a regular basis.
Wet burrito was good, but didn’t settle great later. 🤪 a bit higher priced for a lot of Mexican places, especially considering what you get etc. but over all not a bad experience. Would eat here again but wouldn’t go out of my way to.
The food here is super good. It’s really authentic. You do have to pay for chips and salsa, but it’s not a big deal to me. They have groceries and produce here, too. They also have lots of cool Mexican candy, popsicles and drinks. The dine-in area is not super big but there’s always plenty of seating.
