“Never judge a book by its cover. This was an amazing diner and the manager was absolutely friendly and very on point with service. The food was amazing and I would highly recommend coming back here. I got the Philly steak sandwich with cheesy fries. Also the classic Rubin with tater tots was on point! Good food made fresh and good environment and family-friendly for the kids. I highly recommend it.”

“Top notch perfection!!! If you ever thought of doing a pizza truck for your wedding these are the guys!!! They did amazing with our food at our wedding yesterday. All of our guest were raving on how good and fast those pizzas were coming out. This one is the best decision we ever made for a wedding food choice. “We stopped on the way home from Frankenmuth. We always stop when on trips up north. Today was HIGHLY disappointing. I ordered a corned beef sandwich. The bottom bread was soaked, I’m guessing someone didn’t drain the sauerkraut. I pointed it out. Instead of taking the plate to the kitchen to remake the sandwich she went to get a new bun. About 15 minutes later. I said EXCUSE ME , she said she’s waiting for them to make it ?? It wasn’t toasted or anything what’s to make ?? Still waiting…she brought me a piece of bun. Now the cheese is cold all in a clump and I had to make my own sandwich. I could have done that at home. I have NEVER not tipped until today. Most was brought home so I can warm it up and make it properly. I didn’t hit DO NOT RECOMMEND only because over 16 years this was the first incident. The waitresses handling of it was very poor !! And it wasn’t busy what so ever.”

“The food was great and we didn’t wait long. Shot a game of pool and listened to the jukebox while Charlee did her thing on our food. I 100% recommend this place if you’re out with friends and looking for a good time. Charlee was great!!”

“My husband and I ordered via Drive Thru last night around 8PM. Not only was our food amazing, quick and so good, the associate helping us Riley C was absolutely phenomenal! What a polite young lady. As soon as she greeted us at the Drive Thru speaker, she was GREAT! We understand MANY places are short staffed and are losing employees daily. If Riley was having a bad day, we had NO idea. She was fantastic! Riley is one of those people that need to train all fast food employess! Kudos to the hiring manager. You hired a wonderful employee and representative of your company. We look forward to visiting again when we are in the area.”

“I recently visited Applebee’s and had a solid, overall enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was exactly what you expect from Applebee’s—casual, relaxed, and comfortable, making it a good spot for a laid-back meal without feeling rushed. The restaurant was clean, well-lit, and had a steady flow of customers, which is always a good sign.
I ordered a steak, and it came out in a reasonable amount of time. The steak was cooked close to how I requested and was nicely seasoned. While it wasn’t a high-end steakhouse cut, it was flavorful, tender enough, and satisfying for the price point. The sides paired well with the entrée and were served hot and fresh, which I appreciated. Portion sizes were generous, and I left feeling full.
The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Our server checked in regularly, made sure drinks were refilled, and handled everything professionally. It’s clear they’re experienced with keeping things moving smoothly even when the restaurant gets busy.
Overall, Applebee’s delivered exactly what it promises: consistent food, reasonable prices, and a comfortable dining environment. “This Pepperidge Farm outlet is a hidden gem! Tons of inventory, all marked down with amazing prices—and on top of that, they had a 20% off Mother’s Day sale! I stocked up on all my favorites and even discovered a few new snacks to try. Everything was fresh, well-organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful. You really can’t beat the value here. I’ll definitely be back!”

“Me and the wife like trying local pizza joints when we travel. Goal post is a solid choice if you're in the Birch Run/Frankenmuth area and want to try something local. BLT pizza, loaded potato skins and a chef salad definitely helped with the hunger and had solid flavor. Pizza was a bit dry and could've used some extra sauce but the salad was tasty and it was huuuge lol recommend ?”

“We stopped at the McDonald’s in Birchrun on our way to Niagara Falls. We were greeted at the door with the kindest and happiest lady I think I have ever met. Sally! She was so friendly with every single person that walked in the door. Every employee that we came in contact with Did a great job, but Sally really made us smile.”

“As soon as we walked in I knew how good it was gonna be.I ordered the Dino nuggets and the cheese curds. The waiting was a little long but it flew by super quick with the free Wi-Fi.While we were waiting I decided to look around and look at the where are you from board. Which was super cool and also the Halloween decorations. When we got our food and we took our first bite in the cheese curds and they were so good. My whole family loved the cheese curds. It was a refreshing desire for us after a long day.”
