6 Best Bar & Grill near Birch Run

“This is a really nice bar. We went there to celebrate the birthday of a friend. We had never heard of Beamers before even though it is in fairly close proximity to where we live. It is an unusual bar for these parts because it has outdoor activities like a golf driving range. We did not eat while we were there, but it is now on radar for future visits.“

“We had heard good things so decided to give it a try on a Friday night. They were quite busy and we had about a 15 minute wait for a table for 4. Here is what we liked: * Seating was available at the bar, there just wasn't 4 available. So the wait could have been shorter if it was just the two of us like normal. * Able to order drinks at the bar for our wait in line. Very reasonable drink prices. * Everyone we encountered in the service team was friendly. * The mozzarella sticks were good, a nice gooey cheese and flavorful breading cooked crisp. * We ordered the dry rub cod 2pc dinner and the cod was cooked perfect, and just tasty. * Also tried the walleye beer battered fish dinner and it was large pieces and cooked crisp and just as tasty. Getting extra tartar sauce was a breeze, also like tartar sauce. * Call me weird, but coleslaw can make or break a fish dinner. Theirs was chilled and crisp, not soggy and a little sweet. Very good. * Appreciate the fries were hot. *The cheeseburger was a solid good. What could of been better: * Pretzels and cheese are a must if a restaurant has it on their app menu. These pretzels were cute little bites but nothing special. However the cheese dip was cold, just hard to dip into cold cheese and more of a fan of a warm cheese for my pretzels. * While the fries were hot, they needed salt or a seasoning. * The ladies room was having issues, it happens. However once it was brought to the staffs attention, it wasn't to the end of our meal they indicated they had another on the other side of the building. * It was a busy Friday night, but service was slow. Long waits in between ordering, getting appetizers then finally dinner. Overall, the food was good and prices are quite reasonable. We want to come back and try another night and see how the service is and try a few other dishes. They are the beaten path but worth the drive to try again.“

“Had a great lunch with family!! Super Impressed by the waitstaff and how attentive she was and food was excellent. Bar atmosphere that could use a little TLC booths are all ripped up. Only complaint is that most of our food came out at the same time, except for my brother in law's. We started eating cause it was taking so long and we were all half way done before his sandwich even came out. Not sure what the delay was. Bloody Mary Brunch was delicious!“

“Good food, normally not very loud, if it's busy and only one waitress working you may have to wait a couple minutes longer than usual for a drink or service. But mid day they only have one bartender and waitress and sometimes it gets busy then. Karen is the best. I don't go as often as I used to but she always took great care of us.“

“I regret not taking pictures. It was 11:30am on a Sunday morning and I wasn't expecting much from a bar that early in the day. However, it went far beyond my expectations. The food was excellent. I ordered a cod sandwich. Fresh lettuce, fresh bun and home-made tartar sauce. It was very good. The onion rings were batter dipped and very yummy. My Long Island was right on point. Service was excellent. I'll definitely be back!“

“Nice place outside of the downtown area that shouldn't be too busy when everything else is packed. Just one mile outside of town keeps the foot traffic away, allowing for a quicker meal. Food is good quality bar food, and service is usually pretty decent, tho sometimes can be a little slow. Drinks are reasonably priced.“
