We went 1 night for ice cream and were told we couldn't sit in the empty restaurant and also that there is an ice cream menu but only in the restaurant, hmn....tried 2 days later for a burger and fries, maybe 1 other couple there. Every single table was filthy, they did finally wipe ours down- hamburgers were dry, overcooked, and had no flavor. We didn't bother ordering the float we wanted, very disappointing.

Just outside Frankenmuth. Had a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings.
Needs a good cleaning. Place has gone downhill since I was first there 6 years ago. Overpriced and the mozzy sticks were still frozen in the middle.

Beautiful diner, had I known that casings were on the hotdogs I would have ordered something else. The hot dog was cold with a thick skin and the onions were the size of quarters not cut up just slopped on. Our waitress was very nice and noticed I wasn’t eating it. She asked if I wanted something else and I ordered a burger which came out very red on the inside. I ate the edges and the waitress said her boss says I had to pay for my hotdog. Not sure if we will ever go back. But the staff was friendly & the diner was beautiful I can’t say the same about the food and our bill was $36 and some change !

The food not to bad at all but we only had a chili cheese dog and a Coney with fries. Has quite the variety of flavors for floats and shakes.

Walking in the diner is very nostalgic. Unfortunately our party wasn't seated in the area where we could all sit together. Even though there was only four other people in the whole restaurant. They had one sides of it blocked off (2 people were seated in this area). Didn't offer to open and just suggested we all sit apart. Food was average, prices were averaged to over priced for what was given. Service -wasn't much of it besides taking order and giving food and the check.

Took the kids to Comet Diner after a trip to the zoo. We were greeted right away by the staff, and our waitress was so friendly - she even took the time to chat with my kids, which they really enjoyed.
The food was amazing! I had the Reuben, and honestly, it was the best I've had in a long time - hands down. The kids loved their meals too, and we finished things off with some incredible shakes.
The total for the three of us, including drinks, entrees, and desserts, was about $50 - very reasonable for the quality and experience.
Great atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food. We'll definitely be back!
