We stopped in today for the first time & had a pleasant experience. We ended up getting a bag with each flavor of the filled chocolates.The gentleman that helped us was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The chocolates were top notch, I'm definitely looking forward to our next encounter with these little delicacies.
A little pricey but absolutely delicious and they have beautiful packaging. If you are looking for a fabulous hostess/friend/etc gift I highly recommend Bateel. We bought several Christmas gifts here and as well as a few treats for ourselves-YUM. The filled dates (especially with the pistachios) are to die for as well as Origin chocolates.

Bateel offers some very unique and special chocolates and dates. The dates are fresh and soft, and you can choose those stuffed with almonds, macadamia nuts, pecans and other nuts, candied orange, lemon or ginger, chocolate dipped or plain. The small round shortbread cookies with date in the center are also very nice. Their gift packaging is luxe, perfect for holidays or when you are looking for a unique gift.
