Located in the middle of a busy Birmingham street. Parking is important, the city loves to enforce street pay parking to the minute and garages can be pricey. Visually, the bar and pub looks great. Dark wood Irish and semi modern furniture. Great covered patio fronting the sidewalk with heaters. I've been here 4-5 times now and the experience is never the same. Sometimes I have good food, other times I haven't been able to finish my plate. The lamb burger I had was a crime against humanity, incredibly bland.Service has also been hit or miss. One time our service was very inattentive and too slow, another time they were quick and quite accurate.They do host quite a hefty tap list of about 30+, but alas only 2 dark beers and about 4 fruit/sours. Overpriced—my margarita was 18 dollars and there’s no prices on the cocktail menu. Crazy. And the nachos didn’t come with salsa or sour cream to put on them which made them pretty dry, especially the majority of the chips not on the top that didn’t have cheese on them.
