First time visiting the remodeled Big Rock....a good experience. $12 valet is mandatory, but once you see the parking configuration you will understand why. The staff was quick and professional. We were seating on time for our 6:30 Friday resv. Bella was our server, great job. We shared the shrimp cocktail, Italian salad, veal meatball and 8 oz filet with fettuccine Alfredo side.. all prepared and paced well.. ambiance is upscale , perfect for a date night or special occasion....
We took a trip over the border to visit big rock for my birthday, and we were not disappointed! Lamb chops, beef carpaccio, Wagyu, Bronzino, asparagus, mushrooms, crème brûlée..... a wonderful birthday was had. It couldn't have been more perfect. All your dishes were presented beautifully and professionally. Our bartenders were exactly what we wanted(Danny & I think Mike was his name). As for the noise level.... We were the only ones making noise, singing, happy birthday...
Brought friends to share my previous amazing experience and it was let down. Gave server instructions on pacing meal and preferred temperature but unfortunately instructions were not followed. Best item was tuna tartar so delicious. Must try. Ceasar salad was disappointing bc previously it was to die for. Cold crispy yum. We got room temp stale lettuce bc according to server she was waiting for us to finish appetizer. I guess pacing properly means u get what u get. Steak came...
