“Went here for the first time with my daughter, who is a coffee aficionado. We both loved the decor of the place. It’s quite beautiful and the menu offers so much variety that I wasn’t familiar with, I know I’ll be back. Our coffees were unique, and the pastries were tasty. I’ve seen others complain about the price but we paid about $20 for two coffees two pastries and that includes a tip. I don’t think that’s unreasonable in today’s world and it’s so much better than chain coffee shops.“

“DOC Royal Oak for me is the best option in the Royal Oak area for espresso-based drinks. The loungey seating is better than most places but the ambient music that is always running is a great reason to sit and enjoy a coffee. Excellent selection of tunes with a wide variety ranging from old school funk to modern chill. The roasted coffee selection for purchase rates very well. And the baristas are well-trained in pulling top-tier shots to go along with perfectly frothed milk for your cappuccino or macchiato (my go-to’s)“

“I stopped in today on a whim. I was going to go to the big coffee chain up the road but opted against it. I'm glad I did! the baristas recommended a brown sugar latte with pistachio milk and that's what I got, iced. It was phenomenal. Great price point for the quality of the product. Crispelli's pastries. 5 stars, highly recommend and will be back again.“
