Great place to have a drink on the bar. Terrible place to order food. I think I ate the worse fish and chips I ever have. But the atmosphere is cool to grab some drinks and watch sports.
Staying in the area and this was one of the few affordable options. Friendly, efficient service, good food - fish and chips was very good and a generous size. Old Speckled Hen (beer) was pretty good.
This is our go to spot during work, after work, and even on the weekend to check out a game or meet some great people. It’s usually crowded but never a problem finding a seat in the spacious bar area or up front at a booth or table. Plenty of room for private parties and events when needed. There even is an outdoor patio when the weather is nice. This place is outstanding and we will definitely keep coming back.
