Exactly what you’d want from a diner in the best ways. Tables can be just a bit tight when it’s busy but the food is usually worth it. Skip the coffee though. It’s not been the freshest each time I’ve tried it.
Place itself is noisy but maybe Sunday, late afternoon is not a good time. Not to worry though food was excellent once the server got around to us after 15 minutes of waiting for service while sitting in a booth, no coffee, no water! Based on service, slow, u-non-attentive. Based on food, excellent. Loaded, non frozen strawberries on top of a hot waffle with butter & a fabulous syrup, with a side of bacon that is delicious. Eggs benedict florentine is eggscellent & potato...
I understand that it was busy, but our waitress was RUDE. However, the hostess who sat us was excellent and gave a great impression for the restaurant---not knowing we would be so rudely treated by our server.
