The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, the food overall is great. The service was excellent other than we ordered sparkling water, and waiters kept coming by topping us up with flat water. Maybe they need some kind of system or code so they know what people are drinking. Our main waiter could not have been more professional and pleasant . The only thing that was strange was we were given a slice of cheesecake to celebrate our son‘s birthday. It looked gorgeous, but the whole thing tasted like a pure stick of butter. Very weird. Overall, a great experience. Lovely restaurant.
The ambiance is nice, a bit loud but the restaurant itself is nice looking. The food looks better than it tastes. For the price, I expect the chicken breast to be brined and pulled at 150 to rest and come up to temp. The whipped ricotta lacked acidity, and the butter for the bread lacked salt. The small things that make a meal sing were not present the evening my wife and I visited Zana, and at the price point I cannot justify returning.
Very high/low experience. Restaurant is very nicely finished, great lighting, fun bar but VERY loud for dining. Our waiter was fun but service was a little slow. The executive chef came around to check on tables. We enjoyed appetizers, entrees and desserts. Appetizers were tasty. Our dinners were frustrating. Two dinners came out 5 minutes before two others. The filets were cooked as asked but served with cool mashed potatoes so those had to be reordered. The branzino dinners were delicious! The kitchen sent out a lamb shank for the table, which while kind didn't make up for us all not eating at the same time. Desserts were good as well. I would try again but not on a weekend evening.
Absolutely amazing! The baked feta — just WOW — we're still talking about it. The NY strip was perfectly cooked, and I loved that it was sliced. The fries were hands down the best I've had all year. The cacio e pepe and all the sides we ordered were superb. We finished with dessert, which was absolutely show stopping. Our cocktails were on point, just as delicious as they looked. This really is one of metro Detroit's finest restaurants, food and ambiance are unmatched. Wish we stayed for the after dark, but we'll be back next time for sure!
Very cool venue. Food was ok, I think it's more expensive than the $$ advertised. They do not have kid meals. So, my 10-yr. old son had a $65 steak - crazy!!!!
Outstanding food, beautifully plated. Service was outstanding - attentive but not rushed through the meal. Upgraded winelist this past year an added positive
I have been coming for a while with my friend that is from over seas we always get the tomahawk steak but at least 3 times it has not been prepared like it was before ,First the potato's I advise we like crispy like they use to do , they came whole and bake maybe boiled but not crispy (they use to cut them and had crispy ends . The steak sadly was not as tasty as it had a lot of fat . I know all meat are different because of how it's cut or the animal it's self but it seems like things changed we literally come here allot for just this meal . The village salad was good but definitely needed more balsamic like they did before . Also the sodas or pop whatever you like to call usually are really flat in particular the Diet Coke we had issues before about it but we hate to make them check it all the time . The regular coke comes in a glass bottle which is a lot better , I hate to write bad things but it's been at least 3 times lately . The service is great they know us there they know where we want to sit they are great in that aspect we feel very comfortable . I just hate being negative comments but my friend said he was really disappointed as I was too so I'm Not sure if we will continue our traditional meal there any more which I'm sad about .
Es un lugar super bonito, la comida muy rica, precios razonables, el servicio bien pero me hubiera gustado que el mesero avisara cuando fuese a traer el postre para la festejada y poderla grabar. En general todo bien!
Food was delicious Service impeccable I would go back again The ambiance reminded me of Miami

Beautiful ambiance. The service was excellent throughout. Angela was our server and she really made us feel at home and well cared for. Two of us ordered the T-bone special to share and the entire table of four had a taste. (I believe the cut was over 2 lbs). The flavor and presentation of the dishes was delightful. It was also nice of the chef to stop by our table.
The place was so noisy where you need to speak very loudly to be heard. The menu is very limited in options and exaggerated with the prices.
Good food but the noise level is chaotic - it's nice decor but wish there was something they could do to make it more soundproof- had to yell to the people we were dining with
Definitely a restaurant to patronize if you're looking for a nice upscale dining experience.
Walking in four staff were hovering at the front desk, didn't welcome us in. Table was fine but lights from the heat lamps were being turned on and off constantly which was very distracting. Advised it was a birthday dinner and no one said anything or asked. Waitstaff was gone for a bit and we wanted to order more drinks by the time we got them dinner was finished. When we were finally asked about dessert almost 1.5 hours after we sat we were told what we wanted was just sold out. Wine was comped which was nice but after reading reviews this was not the experience that is advertised. Also so loud, was unaware that it turns into a club scene, that would be nice to know upon booking. Food was excellent. Not much else was unfortunately.
