If you already know what you want & prefer a quick experience, this is a good spot. The poke bowl was amazing but I wouldn’t recommend the seaweed salad. Also, they limit the vegetables to 3 then you have to pay. I wanted to order the poke bowl in person but I was directed to the computer to order. I wasn’t able to see any of the food because it was blocked (pictured). I personally don’t like that cafeteria vibe, however, the minimal interaction...
Life changing poke bowl. Been coming here for years and have perfected my order to the point where it’s amazing every time (especially when Kaku himself makes it). The prices are a bit high, but I promise you it is 100% worth it. Lowkey ruined other poke bowls for me because I know they won’t compare to Kaku
I’ve been to the old location in the area about 6-7 years ago then would visit the one in Birmingham before it closed. I was concerned about the new negative reviews but decided to give it a try since it’s been so long, and I was not disappointed. Either the owner addressed the protein portion issue so many complain about or it’s just very subjective and was not a problem for me at all. What I appreciate about Kaku is the lightness of the meal, how with a few fresh ingredients...
