Great meal, good environment and entertainment.
We came to ear dinner at 7 pm.. I had the ribs and the other family members had steak, brisket and chicken. All the sides were delicious as well as the meats. Music was enjoyable too. Support this local business because they really make some delicious food. Ribs fell off the bone and the sause was plentiful.
You will have to wait a bit but the atmosphere makes it so you don't mind. Live music. To enjoy as well.
My husband raved about this place so we tried it. They ran out of ribeye after 2 hours so I ordered NY strip. They charged us for admission for the band which we didn’t like. I got my steak raw which was ordered medium rare. Then told someone and they did nothing then told waitress, she brought it back charred burnt to where you couldn’t eat it. No one came to talk with me so I paid $45 for a steak I couldn’t eat. I will never go back and definitely never recommend. I feel the owner who was grilling should’ve said something or made a new one for that price.
I normally do not post negative reviews but in this case I feel obligated to. It cost me $162 for two ribeye steaks and one order of ribs. The steaks were fatty and stringy, and the ribs dry and tasteless. The macaroni and cheese was very sticky and thick and the coleslaw was the same. I was charged a cover charge of $15 for the band which never knew it was going to be included. There was no alcohol and sat outside to avoid hearing the band. There were bugs all over our food. I thought this was going to be a new destination restaurant for us to revisit in the future. Sadly, We will not be returning.
Great food and atmosphere!
Great concept! Loved the easy going, country vibe and the fact that it’s BYOB! The food was good but the portions were a little smaller than I expected. We didn’t know there would be a band and had to pay cover to be there and the band was very loud. Overall, a great local stop.
Great BBQ! Friendly Staff! And a good conversation with the owner. Wonderful Experience!
Great spot in Gods country!!!

Excellent, our complaints to the Chef.
Will return, totally different experience ❤️ relaxed
Had a fantastic dinner at the Farm featuring chef Sean Hale’s bbq and awesome side dishes yesterday. We enjoyed every bite and can’t wait to get back to see them asap. Friendly fast moving staff that have great customer service. Great entertainment too.
Two weeks ago (July 26) I brought a group of 19 family members to The Farm at Bloomingdale. Arrangements were made ahead of time with Chef Sean. The evening was perfect. The BarBQ was excellent, and even our one vegetarian was very satisfied with her dinner of side dishes. The music, by Black River Band, was spot-on, and had members of our family dancing. The staff were all very helpful, and made our family feel like we were at home. We will definitely be going to the Farm again the next time we are all in South Haven. Thank you.
Great food and a beautiful setting. Chef Sean Hale was very welcoming.
