“We came to ear dinner at 7 pm.. I had the ribs and the other family members had steak, brisket and chicken. All the sides were delicious as well as the meats. Music was enjoyable too. Support this local business because they really make some delicious food. Ribs fell off the bone and the sause was plentiful.”

Nestled in the middle of the countryside where good food and excellent customer service can be rare finds, Pullman Tavern stands out as a true hidden gem. I happened upon it late in the evening, hungry and with no other dining options in sight. As I walked in, the staff kindly informed me they were nearing closing time. I explained there was nowhere else to eat in the area, and instead of turning me away, they went above and beyond to make sure I had a great meal.

The bartender and the cook could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Their warm hospitality immediately set the tone for my visit, and it was clear they genuinely cared about making my experience enjoyable. Even at the end of a long day, they treated me like a welcome guest rather than an inconvenience.

To my surprise, the burger I ordered was absolutely outstanding, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and far better than I ever expected from a small town tavern. The sides were equally satisfying, and my drink was mixed with just the right touch of elegance, exactly how I like it. While this is very much a tavern atmosphere, the quality of the food could rival a dedicated restaurant.

The Pullman Tavern also offers amenities like a pool table and a comfortable, relaxed vibe. The space is spotless, the atmosphere is inviting, and the friendliness of the staff is unmatched. This visit truly turned my trip through the area into an unexpectedly great experience.

If you ever find yourself in the middle of nowhere craving a great meal and genuine human kindness, Pullman Tavern is the place to go. I will absolutely go out of my way to stop in again the next time I am in the area. Without hesitation, I give it a full five stars.”

“I am a very picky eater when it comes to food and I can tell you that I am overly impressed by Pigs Head BBQ food truck. The brisket should be entered in to a competition.Mac and cheese outstanding,Gumbo seasoned to perfection and the list goes on, I definitely recommend!!!!”

“My son has been begging me to take him here so he could grill his own steak at a restaurant. We enjoyed dinner here tonight for his 14th birthday. The food was amazing, my parents ordered the Prime Rib special from the pub menu and they said it was the best they’ve ever had from a restaurant. My boyfriend had the French dip and devoured it. My 11 year old shared a steak with me and ate more than half when he usually only eats a few bites of steak. The birthday boy said it was everything he wanted and more and wants to make it an every birthday tradition. We all left full and happy. Awesome experience, great service, and a ton of fun! “Love it! It’s cash only, for good reason, so don’t flip grief to the friendly staff. Just go south to the gas station ATM. It’s 2 minutes away.
The Reuben is awesome, as is the ice cream. No fuss road side burger and ice cream stand — and then some. My family loves the burgers and chili cheese fries.”

“Best subs from any Subway I've ever been to. Fresh bread, lots of meat and veggies without being messy. Staff was very professional and courteous. I left my purse at the table and drove back to Kalamazoo ? the staff put it in the office for safe keeping. NOTHING was out of place or missing. “This was really hard to give a 'star' rating to this place because the service you get and the quality of the food you get is highly dependent on what crew is working. The quality of the food varies SO much! The last time we went, the staff was wonderful, the service was great and the food was phenomenal. However today, service was not good.. actually i was uncomfortable by the atmosphere here today. My food was ten minutes late and i was sitting in the lobby waiting, noone said anything and it wasnt busy at all. The food was barely done, it was sloppy and messy and very frustrating to eat. I honestly think if i came back to order and the same crew was working, id order somewhere else unfortunately.”

I stopped into Little Caesars today and had a great experience. There was an older gentleman working who seemed to be handling most of the cooking, and he was incredibly polite the whole time. Even though there was a bit of a wait, he kept us updated, was super respectful, and honestly made the whole trip better. You don’t see that kind of friendliness everywhere these days, and it really stood out. Big shout-out to him — he deserves it!”
