“I'm actually disappointed in myself for not writing a review sooner. I've gotten pizza from Roma so many times it wouldn't be possible to count. Never once have they disappointed. There are closer places to where I live but it certainly doesn't feel like going out of my way to drive to Bangor for the quality of food and customer service.”

“Stopped out on opening day for ice cream and pizza for my son’s birthday. They surprised him with a candle on it. The staff was very friendly and service was fast. The food and ice cream was great. My kids enjoyed the games set up outside and plenty of room for kids to run.”

“Went here many many years ago when i believe, was just a counter where I picked up a burger to go. Saturday we stopped in about 10am for breakfast. When you walk in, there is a Specials menu plus a written menu to order from at the window.. then a short wait for seating. I had the strawberry and cream waffle, and my BF had a sausage omelet. Both were almost the size of the plates they were served on. And both were delicious. Thank You for the great food and friendly service. We will be back!”

“Ate here for the first time last night. Food was delicious and portions were more than generous. The steak burrito was delicious as well as the chips and salsa. Definitely will eat here again, it’s nice to have a good Mexican restaurant closer to home. I definitely would recommend this restaurant.”

“We came to ear dinner at 7 pm.. I had the ribs and the other family members had steak, brisket and chicken. All the sides were delicious as well as the meats. Music was enjoyable too. Support this local business because they really make some delicious food. Ribs fell off the bone and the sause was plentiful.”

“I should have wrote a review years ago but anytime I take family there to dine out was always met with friendly service almost immediately upon entering the door. Never waited very long for orders and the food always arrived hot and tasty. Great little bar no complaints”

“We stayed at an AirBnb outside of town last weekend and wanted to only eat at local/non chain restaurants and picked Frida’s for dinner. I am already trying to plan more trips down that way just to eat here again. I had the best enchiladas ever! The atmosphere was great, and the musician was great also. 100/10 would recommend!”

This is hands down the most delicious Mexican experience I have ever had in my life. And I have eaten a LOT of Mexican food in my time. It's hard to get good, or any at all, tripe and lengua, anywhere around here, yet it was cooked to perfection today, well seasoned too, with a good portion.

Their tamales also are so full of meat, just packed full. I can't remember the last time I ordered them from somewhere and they weren't just a pathetic little thin line going through it. Well seasoned too, someone really put their heart into making them and you can taste the time they put into making them.

The price point is extremely fair for what you get. And they're nice people.

I haven't felt this highly about a place for a long time. I only hope they open their door dash back open soon!”

“Food was so good! I ordered the perch sandwich...pleasantly surprised to see the chips were made fresh (i figured they would just be from a bag). We got the loaded tots to start with...polished off most of it before I remembered to get a picture! Just honestly really delicious food.

Our waitress, Tiffany (? That's what was on our cc slip) was amazing. Super friendly and went above and beyond to make the customer experience a good one. I noticed the way she treated us was also how she interacted with the others who were in. She is definitely an asset to this business!

“Stopped by for breakfast while passing through and was greeted and seated warmly and quickly. The drinks were brought quickly, and the food wasn't far behind. The food was good, seasoned and cooked nicely and we didn't leave hungry. Seemed to be a place where locals frequented, not a lot of seating area, but overall a pretty decent place for a breakfast stop.”

“Atmosphere wasn't great but I don't care at all. The people were nice, and the food taste like it was professional deli level. Some of the bread is pretty good, and the pizzas are mostly mid or bad, but omg the sandwiches are all unbelievably tasty beyond all rational belief. I wish I could eat here every day.”
