“The best spot to grab a great cup of coffee and a bite to eat! The coffee and food was amazing! The people working there were wonderful to talk to. Place was very clean and had a great vibe.”
“Stopped along the way to see family... Friday during Lent made it a little tricky but it was VERY good and so quaint!! Would stop in again on a non Friday during Lent to try some of the other dishes.”
“Stopped to get gas and saw them from across the street. Got some delicious tacos, was a dollar cheaper than other trucks I've been too. Hopefully I will seen them again next time I pass by.”
“The food here is some of the best around . Give this place a try and I will bet you will return. It's almost a hour from me house, but the drive is nothing, once you see your food.”
“The staff is courteous and respectful, they don't rush you to order and they can professionally answer your questions pertaining to their food. They make you feel welcomed with a smile.”
“Best place to have a drink on the lake. Come by boat, golf cart, car, moped or motorcycle. The evenings are the best time to come if you want to hangout with people from all over. The bartenders are great and will take good care of you. I am always excited when it opens for the year and sad when it closes for the year. It has great views also, especially at night. This is the hidden gem on Paw Paw Lake.”
“It’s not summer without a visit to Morlock’s. Mom started the tradition growing up in Coloma, and we continue it all the way from Chicago. Quality produce at good prices - well worth the trip!”
“I think I’ve visited Arclight maybe 3-4 times now, and they’ve always been a comfortable place with solid brews. This time I enjoyed a few drinks out on their patio (front and back) during a late summer evening. It was very nice and relaxing. There are bocce ball courts in the back, and I’d really like to try it some day. Arclight is definitely one of my go-to spots in this section of Michigan.”
“Some of the best and authentic tasting food I’ve ever had. Will definitely order again and again. Kind people running this place going above and beyond. 6 stars( I don’t usually review places unless they’re really bad or really good. That being said this place is worth your money)”
“Limited drinks. No horchata. However it has that legit Mexican fast food feel. Good portions and like walking into a similar restaurant in Southern California.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, high chairs for dine in”
“Pretty good food. Good prices. Nice little small town hidden gem. Got an old weird america vibe from the place. I love spending at small local business rather than throwing money at big business. I will say I was a little bit underwhelmed by the dinner rolls but the excellence of the chicken made up for it.”
“I forgot my wallet, I fought with one of my kids who refused to get dressed for school, my sinuses are a wet hot mess, I could have sworn it was a Monday. However Mrs. Laurie made my day, she covered my breakfast out of her own pocket and asked me to use the change to pay it forward. This interaction was one of the bright spots of my day, thank you for showing a stranger some kindness! ? ?”
“I love how kind and quick the night staff is. If the night shift leader ran for president I would vote for her. Taco Bell is my comfort food when I’m really stressed and they always meet me with a smile and a laugh no matter my mood.”
“Mike and his wife are great people serving the best breakfast and lunch I had while in coloma at very reasonable prices. Down to earth people serving good food and conversation. They don’t have seating but that’s just fine. I took my food to the river pull out and ate while watching the water go by.”
“Small womens bathroom, but overall I love the bend. I'm a regular visitor for karaoke on fridays and Saturdays at 9:30pm.Parking: They have a parking area on the front and side of the buildingKid-friendliness: Up til a certain time they are very family oriented. After 10 or 12 it can get a bit loud in a more adult way. ?Wheelchair accessibility: They have stairs in front and a tall wheelchair ramp on the side that goes through the kitchen. If you have a heavy chair it's not easy to get up and down. It IS accessible with help to anyone with a chair though.”
“Best breakfast around! Food was excellent, service was exceptional. My new favorite restaurant!Parking: Big parking lot, easy access.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals are just right.”
“I love going to their Wednesday night Chicken Dinner Special! Three pieces Broasted Chicken, Mash & Gravy, Vegetable and biscuit/roll just 6.99!It's a fun family diner. Very personable servers and owner!”
“I moved from Colorado to Michigan last year and the last thing I expected was to find decent Mexican food in rural Michigan. I was pleasantly shocked when I discovered this restaurant. Food was fantastic and service wonderful. Best Mexican food I’ve had in years!”
“I live just down the road, and love the food. The burgers are awesome, and the other food is great too. They cook right in front of you, which is nice to see, as they keep it clean.”
“Adorable ice cream shop that has been in the community for 75 years. Loved walking here every night while on vacation. Young, friendly staff. Has cute t-shirts and souvenirs. Packed in the evening, go during the day if possible.”
“Great beer, a very tempting variety, and remarkable food. A family friendly comfortable place to send some time. Hard to do better than Sister Lakes Brewing Comp.”
“The BEST burgers in town :DI love the comfortable vibes at this bar. The service is great and vibes are laid back. Surprisingly the best burger i've had in Michigan :PThe menu is really big too. So much variety and daily specials. :)”
“A group of us went to the Cheifs Bar and Grill on Friday for a steak dinner. It was one of the best tasting steaks that I've ever eaten. The waitress, cook, and the other patrons were very friendly. I will certainly go there again.”
“Incredible place, an old building full of history. New owners the previous owners had the history on the menu. The ceiling was curved with a design. It is different and small however we went there during what would be a rush hour and there was plenty of room. For a small up charge any fry can be turned into cheesy fries. A little pricy but the food was great. We like to get off the beaten path and find non chain restaurants we can bring our 15 year old with us. For the 3 of us, no drinks was just under $50.I would go back in a minute. It was great food and the staff was friendly.Parking: Along the tracks”
“This is a classic frozen treats spot just off the main street. It seems like they mostly specialize in vanilla soft serve with mix ins and toppings. I got their version of a flurry with waffle cone bits and chocolate chips and it was delightful. My friend got one w Reese's that she felt like was light on mixins hence my 4 stars. But the staff were lovely. It's an order at the counter only situation with picnic tables outside and a parking lot.”
“Awesome pizza, even though it's gluten free. The toppings are amazing, especially the sausage. The person working tonight was incredible, even though she was super busy. I can understand why she was so busy, the pizza is great!!!Will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Everything in the restaurant is gluten free, but still delicious. Celiac friendly.”
“Nice atmosphere, we went for the tractor pull tour of the vineyard ( beautiful), a wedding was taking place. Sweet wines were better than the dry wines. Friendly. Nice view of the property from inside ( lots of glass to look out of). Only 5 tastes , some places give you 6+....”
“I've been here a few times and will definitely be back. The Bacon Hot dogs are amazing. Have tried a few different things and everything has been great. Wish they had prices on menus. But so far it's been reasonable. And the owners are very nice and keep it clean.”
“Small place sometimes crowed , sometimes dead I guess it depends on the day of the week. Food is good and fast. You can see them cooking it in front of you. Decently priced. Employees were friendly.Parking: There is a small parking lot around back , and some parking spot in front of the building”
“WOW!! We visited this town and wanted somewhere to go to eat. We all were looking on our phones and almost just gave up and went to Kalamazoo. My wife said, Let's try this place and WOW!! It was fantastic... the atmosphere was great, the waitress took care of here tables like she knew everyone for years, and the food.. It was wonderful! We all had something different and all had a great experience with our food. We live over a half hour away and wouldn't hesitate to go back here first before going closer to home!Kid-friendliness: They have plenty of different foods on the menu that kids would love.Wheelchair accessibility: Barrier free entrance and plenty of room in the bathrooms for a wheelchair.”
