“I understand it is coming to the end of the season, which means less hours until closing for the winter, My only problem with the place was that there were only two employees during a rush hour and the very nice lady at the window seemed overwhelmed. On top of the fact that she couldn't find her cook, there wasn't enough food in the inventory to make what was needed for that day. Long story short we went for a hotdog and left with the best damn hamburger I have ever eaten ? loved it!”

“Ordered steak, chicken, and al pastor tacos, plus a steak burrito and chips and salsa for pick up and all were really really good. The steak was so tender and flavorful. Loved the array of salsas and their varying heat.Finding the menu online was a bit difficult, but glad we were able to because the food was great.”

“Diana was great. The cake was a big decision for us and when you know, you just know. Facilities we're very welcoming and clean, Diana had hundreds if not thousands of picture of her work, the samples were fresh, and she continues to do work shops and educate herself. We are lucky and very pleased to have her do our wedding cakes!”

“This is a great place to get bar food. We going for the burgers. It is your typical local bar atmosphere. The space could use a makeover but the staff and food more than make-up for the appearance. A pool table, juke box and keno are all available.”

“WOW!! We visited this town and wanted somewhere to go to eat. We all were looking on our phones and almost just gave up and went to Kalamazoo. My wife said, Let's try this place and WOW!! It was fantastic... the atmosphere was great, the waitress took care of here tables like she knew everyone for years, and the food.. It was wonderful! We all had something different and all had a great experience with our food. We live over a half hour away and wouldn't hesitate to go back here first before going closer to home!Kid-friendliness: They have plenty of different foods on the menu that kids would love.Wheelchair accessibility: Barrier free entrance and plenty of room in the bathrooms for a wheelchair.”

I'm a regular visitor for karaoke on fridays and Saturdays at 9:30pm.Parking: They have a parking area on the front and side of the buildingKid-friendliness: Up til a certain time they are very family oriented. After 10 or 12 it can get a bit loud in a more adult way. ?Wheelchair accessibility: They have stairs in front and a tall wheelchair ramp on the side that goes through the kitchen. If you have a heavy chair it's not easy to get up and down. It IS accessible with help to anyone with a chair though.”

“I moved from Colorado to Michigan last year and the last thing I expected was to find decent Mexican food in rural Michigan. I was pleasantly shocked when I discovered this restaurant. Food was fantastic and service wonderful. Best Mexican food I’ve had in years!”

“Delicious. We had low expectations, but we're truly surprised!!! The tamales were amazing They tasted amazing. Best tamales I've had. The beans were just like regular beans but better and the rice was well, rice :). The carne asada was delicious and really made our day. The only drawback is that the place feels over decorated but that doesn't really matter because when you eat you should focus on the people that you are eating with. People are nice if I could rate the atmosphere 4.5 I would but whatever.”

“The food used to be pretty good here but it depends if you go Monday Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday it seems like the steak has been microwaved on Friday it's absolutely delicious Saturday and Sunday are iffy and they keep on raising their prices on food this place is usually pretty busy and when they do actually have pre-made box pie it's like five bucks a slice kind of high their bathrooms are clean though when they have them open but they don't give you an option when you order food if you want corn tortilla or flour tortilla I didn't even know that was an option until I went to La cantina”

“Incredible place, an old building full of history. New owners the previous owners had the history on the menu. The ceiling was curved with a design. It is different and small however we went there during what would be a rush hour and there was plenty of room. For a small up charge any fry can be turned into cheesy fries. A little pricy but the food was great. We like to get off the beaten path and find non chain restaurants we can bring our 15 year old with us. For the 3 of us, no drinks was just under $50.I would go back in a minute. It was great food and the staff was friendly.Parking: Along the tracks”

“Awesome pizza, even though it's gluten free. The toppings are amazing, especially the sausage. The person working tonight was incredible, even though she was super busy. I can understand why she was so busy, the pizza is great!!!Will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Everything in the restaurant is gluten free, but still delicious. Celiac friendly.”

“This is a classic frozen treats spot just off the main street. It seems like they mostly specialize in vanilla soft serve with mix ins and toppings. I got their version of a flurry with waffle cone bits and chocolate chips and it was delightful. My friend got one w Reese's that she felt like was light on mixins hence my 4 stars. But the staff were lovely. It's an order at the counter only situation with picnic tables outside and a parking lot.”

“Owner response a few days after the post. The only thing I feel they need to change is where the cash only post is located. It's on the FB page but its not where I looked, and I did look, It's not on Google at all like they said or thought it was. As far as the ATM in the place, that's a nice touch but they made it seem like 2.00 bucks was no biggie, but if everyplace had a ATM that does add to the price of a night out, all card fees are passed on to the paying customer anyways is my point and that does add up for the paying customer. I do appreciate them keeping the costs down and making it an affordable meal for everyone, I get what the owner/ owners are doing.Very decent food for our first time here. Service was decent, the food prices were fair. The only thing we didn't know about was they don't take cards at all but there is an ATM in there but there will be a stiff fee if you use that machine. We didn't know about it. I was told why they do it that way and it makes sense, most places just add that fee back to the customers. I didn't see anywhere on their website where it was cash only, I might have missed it. We / I would eat here again.”

“Adorable ice cream shop that has been in the community for 75 years. Loved walking here every night while on vacation. Young, friendly staff. Has cute t-shirts and souvenirs. Packed in the evening, go during the day if possible.”

“stumbled upon Contessa Wine Cellars on a lovely Sunday winter day touring Michigan after staying in South Haven. A nice couple was walking out as my wife and I arrived and when we walked in we enjoyed a private hosting from Tony the owner himself! the BEST wine tasting experience we have ever had and we couldn't have appreciate Tony's knowledge, enthusiasm and attention to our family and fun any more!! He's incredible and so is the ambience, Marilyn Monroe collection and overall essence of the entire location!! Family owned and carried on and we plan on coming back on our next weekend adventure!! the best wine in Michigan and most certainly one of the coolest owners on earth! We took home 3 bottles for the memory!! Like Dino said "Memories are made of these!" Cheers!!”
