Stopped in for the first time and ordered the Alexander, the great dinner for 4 and it was absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough good about the food and service. You need to go try it for yourself. I’ll be back soon to try the pizza.
Hard to beat the atmosphere hanging over the edge of the river - ( nice 10lb trout sitting there too…). Great service and friendly staff. Food was ok ( maybe caught them on a bad day for the fish n chips?). The replacement burger was awesome and no complaints from the server when I said something. That says something for the place though. I’ll definitely give them a shot again when back in town.
In the last five years, my husband has ordered steak numerous times from various restaurants and only once has it been cooked correctly and not over seasoned. This restaurant would make it number two. Steak was cooked exactly as he ordered (medium) with only a very light season instead of being suffocated in salt. Carrots were absolutely delicious and I had the coconut shrimp which was also very tasty and portion sizes were generous. Great value and nice draft beer selection....
