8 Best Sports Bars near Bridgeport

“About a year ago I had a terrible experience at this bar and wrote a one star review. As far as I know, this place is under new management. Since the change it has improved a lot. Everything was clean and more up to date. The drinks were cheap and the service was by far the best I've ever had at a bar. The bar tender not only picked up your empties but also brought refills and checked in on the tables. I've never had all that at a bar. I only had a little food but it was great. This was an awesome little small town bar.“

“Everything was good aside from the nudge machines. I won $60 and they give you a gift card for the restaurant. Everywhere else that has nudge machines pays out in VISA gift cards. I heard from other regulars that they weren’t paid out via restaurant gift card so must just be something they do to new comers? Would be crazy winning $1500 and having to spend it all back at the restaurant!“

“Went here on a Saturday at 1:00 due to everywhere else around being too busy, oddly enough, they were empty. The service was also oddly slow even though no one was there, yet, they seemed to be trying. The food was pretty good though and had a decent selection of craft beer.“

“Shoutout to our waitress Cherie. Please let her read this or show it to her. Applebees, she needs a raise. Our party arrived late, about 10:30. Closing is at 11. All of the food was put up, but she brought it out and took care of us. I can’t say enough about how kind she was and the world be a better place if everyone acted like her. She was not rude in any way or rushing us. Food was good, service was even better.“

“Went with family, server was amazing and on point. Ordered the "new" fish and chips and and first thing I thought when it was brought out was fast food fish Patty's!!!If your a fish and chips person you know what it should look like and have that expectation as such. With that said it didn't taste bad but it wasn't anything to brag about either. Daughter got the MacNcheese kids meal and it was as expected for a kids meal. Son got a burger and he liked it but not his favorite . But the real winner was the loaded nachos! Huge, flavors on point would get again!In general, would return but for the prices restaurants are charging now days wouldn't be my first choice“

“Applebee's to-go! We had family in the hospital and we got hungry so we called ? ??. Our minds were on other things when we ordered so we screwed up. Didn't realize it till after card was ran so couldn't change it. The manager came out to the parking lot and gave us a few gift cards for 10 bucks each even though he didn't have to. “The best hooters I've been to in a long time. If the one in Lansing had been like this maybe it wouldn't have gone out of business. We'll definitely be back next time we come to town. Lucky enough for me it's my wife's favorite restaurant, I only tag along to make her happy ?“

“Great Local’s sports bar. Some people could view this as a dive bar but it’s definitely a Local‘s sports bar first impression walking in the front door…My girlfriend looked at me and said it is very bright in here(as in the lights were very bright).The bartender was very cool, on his game and you could tell that the local folks are very friendly. The old man next to us realize we are from out of town, and suggested the Scottish inn as well and told us we would very much enjoy that Tavern. I recommend anybody that was going through town to stop here. We didn’t eat just had a couple drinks and left but we enjoyed ourselves. There’s no shortage of televisions or space if you wanna watch a game..“
