Wanted to try this place while visiting, thought it would be a good spot before getting started for work. However, they don't open until 8am, not exactly an 'Early Bird' spot, so the name was a bit misleading and I was unable to try it.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, it is inviting, clean, and aesthetic. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the food, drip coffee, and prices were quite a bit disappointing. For the price you’d expect premium food, and yet the food was not good at all, bad presentation, bad mixes of flavors. It’s a nice restaurant with good potential, but the menu needs some work.
Went on a Saturday and had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. I felt like the place wasn't exactly the cleanest...maybe bc it was just very cluttered? Bathrooms weren't very clean and only two available so you have to wait in line. BUT the food was VERY good. We got the Monte Cristo and the spicy biscuits and gravy and ate every bit. Pricing is a little high but the portions make it worthwhile. A side of two eggs is only $3. I would return to eat here again. Reservations...
