“Just had dinner here at the Red Arrow Roadhouse. Hubby ordered the meatloaf dinner and he liked it very much. I ordered the Roadhouse Classic Reuben minus the sauerkraut and 1000 island dressing! The house-cooked corned beef, warm, very lean, and incredibly tender on griddled marbled rye, with melted Swiss cheese was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! The fries were perfectly cooked and hot. Our server was a dream. Friendly and welcoming. She made us want to come back! “I tried a glass of their sparkling wine and was very happy with it. On warm days, Gravity stays pretty busy and their patio offers pleasant seating outdoors. The service at the bar was easy and friendly. It’s a good place to stop and try Michigan wine if you’re nearby.“

“We were fortunate enough to be invited to the soft opening of Viola Café this week. While we have always loved the charm of this little gem in Three Oaks, the new owners have knocked it out of the park on every level. Service was friendly, attentive and had great suggestions for us. The décor was modern, yet not stark, a very nice soothing atmosphere, comfortable seating and tables spaced enough apart to enjoy your meal in your space. Prices were very good and the portions generous. Now the food – EVERYTHING we tasted was phenomenal. The dishes had the right amount of flavor, spice and uniqueness (due to the recipes of the owners’ family members). I’m not one who can eat too hot and the only dish I found too hot was the Nashville chicken po boy sandwich. While I couldn’t eat much of that, the bread they serve it on is amazing. We also had the unique and very tasty 3 bean salad, an AMAZING “old school” potato salad, the chicken/sausage gumbo, beignets you’d be hard pressed to think were not from Louisiana, fantastic collard greens and chicken salad. Everything was incredibly fresh and prepared perfectly. And that was just lunch. Had we arrived a bit earlier we could’ve tried breakfast, but we WERE able to get a smidge of a taste of the sausage gravy that goes on the biscuits. I don’t even eat that but was blown away by that taste. NEXT TIME BREAKFAST!“

“This was our first visit to the Staymaker, which is the restaurant within the Journeyman Distillery. We are visiting from Chicago and this was recommended and we were not disappointed! Everything was really excellent! From our charming and attentive server Hailey, to the amazing smoked trout spread app to the Trout entree and the brisket meatloaf. It was all so delicious! “I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Pulling up it looked really sketchy, like they'd been closed down for years, but the reviews were good so I figured we'd give it a try. We got dinner for 3 which was really good and so much food. Besides the 3 entrees it came with chicken wings, fried wontons, egg rolls, and soup. There was at least enough for 4 people, maybe even 5. And the prices were very reasonable. We'll order from here again!“

“Applebee's is your usual American chain restaurants. Prices are reasonable, and they have several all you can eat dinners. They were short staffed, so it took a little longer than usual to get our food. The service was excellent, they did the best they could, and were honest about the situation.“

My plate came out hot and straight from the flattop or grill. I had my favorite Mexican dish in the world, Birrias! The shell was crunchy and flavorful, the dip was dip-tastic, and I enjoyed every piece of meat that fell on my plate. I also had the flavorful Mexican corn and tried the fabulous nachos! I appreciated the complimentary chips and salsa, but if I'm honest, the rice and beans that came with the birrias platter fell flat.The service was appreciated and great! We were greeted with love, and the menu was explained great! The server was amazing and made sure we were comfortable.The atmosphere was a little dark and flat. However, there appears to be some action going on at night at this restaurant, as there was a DJ Booth, Barbie picture setup, sombrero hats, and more to enjoy! I believe the time I came in was not a hot time slot.All in all, there were some really GOOD stuff at El Sol Azteca and some things that could be better. I'm grateful for this lovely restaurant!

“This place was amazing - we had a party of 17 people with some last minute changes to our reservation and Round Barn accommodated what we needed to make sure we had a great time. Everyone in our party thought the food was fantastic, our server Morgan was amazing, and the manager was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. We liked it so much we came back the next day for brunch and had just as much as a great time. We will definitely visit Round Barn the next time we are in town!“

The restaurant was hosting a fundraiser where they would donate 20% of the proceeds from the night to a local family who had medical issues, which I think is a great way to give back to the community!
