“I go here every other week to have coffee with my son, who lives about an hour & a half away from me -- Brighton's the halfway point. The food & coffee are great. We normally meet up on Wednesdays, although we did try once in a Friday & it was far more crowded. If you want a savory breakfast pastry, you have to get there earlier than 9 am on a Friday. At 9, there are still some Wednesday savories available. (Note: I do appreciate the store not wasting food, & if I am "stuck" eating a sweet, ah, poor me. ;-) The food is fine -- worth the occasional splurge.We've been coming here in the fall & winter so far. The view from the upper room is lovely, so I am looking forward to sit-outside weather (there is a patio). There's free parking in the back.As noted, I visit to have a human conversation, so I don't have first hand experience of the wifi, but I do see people working on their computers, & I haven't heard complaints.Parking: The city offers free parking behind the store fronts on the block. There are maybe 7 spaces next to the back of this place. It's a one-way drive through that parking lot to the end where the store is. So if you discover there are no close spaces, you have to exit by crossing a sidewalk (helpful traffic mirror!) & then going back in about a block away & grabbing the first spot you see farther away.Wheelchair accessibility: As best I can tell, wheelchair access is available through the back, but someone has to hold the door. The lower dining area is a bit crowded to freely move around but people will probably move to help you get by. There are bathrooms on the ground floor. I have never entered from the front. For the last 5 years of his life, my husband was wheelchair-bound, so I'm familiar with accessibility issues, but I didn't come to this place until after his death, so I don't have personal experience.“
“This is the BEST custard we've had in the area! We are from Wisconsin, where custard is everywhere, and since moving to MI, we have been on the hunt for the same quality. And we found it! The service was fast and friendly, and we loved the summer vibe inside and outside the shop. This is our go-to custard shop from now on!“

“THE best chain coffee place! I absolutely love Scooter’s! It is consistently made exactly how I want it, compared to going to Starbucks or Dunkin’ where it’s a gamble on how it’s going to be made. The food is also very good! If you haven’t tried the waffle sandwich, you need to!The employees are always so friendly and it’s nice to be treated well. I highly recommend you try it, you won’t be disappointed!“
“Ordered lunch for today, Lentil soup and a "meat wrap" sammy. The soup was very good, you probably need to like lentils to make this work for you. The meat wrap, not positive what's in it but it was very good too. The last best part, I called and she kindly said 10 minutes to be ready and it was. Nice work!“
“I can't tell you how happy we are that Smoothie King came to our area. We are long time customers and it is so nice finally having one close by. The staff is friendly and there is no comparison to their smoothies. Best anywhere. Highly recommend the Peanut Power Plus and the PB Swizzle acai bowl. Yum. Please give them a try. “I was picking up my order yesterday, 5/8/23, after a very long & stressful work day. I went to grab my bag from the pickup area, thinking I could clear the BLUEBERRY smoothie. Nope! Sploosh!!, ALL over the floor. It was about 3pm, & I didn't get their names, but the 2 young ladies & the young gentleman working at the Hartland location wereAWESOME! I felt horrible making a mess, splashing blueberry smoothie on a fellow patron's white shoes, but the patron had an amazing attitude as well. Thank you for making this clumsy old lady feel just a little better yesterday!“
“Food was phenomenal, decent price especially for being so fresh (try the caramel apple energy drink and maple syrup latte as-well as the burritos and avocado toast). Didn’t wait long but they had tic tac toe to play while our orders were finished up. The girls behind the counter were really nice too.“
