We stopped by Cafe Italiano for lunch after a morning at the beach. We were looking at some sandwiches and Thomas recommended the Italian beef. We are from the suburbs of Chicago so our standards for Italian beef are pretty high. Well, we are so glad we took the recommendation because it was truly one of the best Italian beefs I've ever had! If you like the early 1900s vibe with great food and service then this is definitely a place to stop in! The staff were friendly and prompt. The sausage pizza I got was delicious and filling from the portions of toppings provided!
We came here (first time) for Valentine, and it's delicious. They have special menu for Valentine for couple. We had beef ravioli & truffle ravioli for main course. Definitely will be back for their pizza!
