“We just moved here from Texas & Mexican food is our favorite! After several recommendations we tried El Cozumel Mexican Grill tonight & it is by far our favorite Mexican food restaurant here in Michigan & it’s the closest thing to our favorite restaurant in Texas! As a server myself that also worked at a Mexican restaurant I’m big on customer service & Carlos was absolutely amazing & the food was fantastic! I have a feeling my husband & I will be seeing Carlos on a weekly basis to get our fix!❤️“

“Everyone knows Starlite is great. Thats why they're the last ones standing. Flint used to have so many restaurants, most were good. Over the years they have all closed but Starlite still stands and expanded! All their food is excellent! My favorites are The Big Sicilian and The Butcher's Chop Omelette. If you haven't been to Starlite, you're not from around here and I strongly recommend you stop in for a meal!“

“The event space is so cute and cozy. We loved how warm and inviting it was. Very cool, down to earth place. My absolute favorite thing is that you can bring your dogs inside! Oh, and the fire pit outside is pretty freaking cool! There were so many different options of beer, my husband got the sweet cider and I got the Kombucha (which has no alcohol) and it was delicious! My brother in law got "the farmers daughter" and also a pint to take home! Pizza was yummy! They didn't skimp on the salad toppings♥️“

“My favorite place to eat in Ortonville! The family that owns this restaurant is just wonderful. I can't count how many times we've eaten here, and every part of our experience has been fantastic every time. I try something new each time I order, however, I've never ordered anything but the Mexican cuisine (the cheese chili rillenos are my favorite) . Recently I saw a comment on a local FB page bragging about their Greek Salad, so I ordered one. The salad was put together beautifully, but the dressing!!!!.....omg the dressing was IT! “I've ate Chinese every where around Genesee county and let me tell you. This place is amazing. I usually go to the Canton one on Fenton Rd in grand Blanc, the two are comparable to say the least. “Visited evening of June 30th.

Excellent food. Got the 18” super steak with mushroom and onion. Get extra cheese, salt you wont regret it. Wife had veggie sub. Grille veggies can be hit or miss. Only regret is not getting the 18”, because she said it was the best veggie sub she’s ever had. 10/10. We were visiting from Iowa and can’t wait to eat there 4-5 times when we’re back in December.

Also, employees working were super friendly and helpful.

“My husband & I stopped in the other night. First of all, our server, Liz, was so pleasant and even found a coupon for us to save us money on our bill. I ordered the stacked ham & cheese on Texas toast. It was so good. The toast was grilled perfectly, giving it great flavor. The cheese fries are to die for. We also had the mozzarella cheese sticks for an appetizer. I loved the crunchiness and flavor of the batter. Their homemade chicken noodle soup really hit the spot on a chilly night. We will definitely be going back. I highly recommend stopping in, you won’t regret it!“

Great for couples, family or groups with 3 separate dining rooms. Good pizza ( I'm a Chicagoan who knows good pies) and great Italian dishes featuring a zesty marinara and plenty of cheese. Especially like their baked pasta dishes which are served in generous sized portions at reasonable prices and are accompanied by either soup or salad. “I placed excellent job. The same order was placed June6, 2023 and again June 8, 2023. One order June 6th was superb. The order and chef did an excellent job. Time of order 11:08 A.M. On June 8th the time of the order was 12:53 P.M. The brisket was not tender the chef was stingy on the chicken, all in all the package was not worth $49.82 Whoever the chef was June 6th give him a raise. I cannot say the same for the order Feast for Two for the chef that served it.“

“Fantastic Pizza from this location. I ordered a 4 corner deep dish Pepperoni and Bacon and the bacon was nice and crispy, and the cheese pull looked like what you'd see advertised online, which is rare these days.

Service is always quick and accurate. These workers are on top of things and provide great food every time.

Parking: It's in a strip mall Plaza so sometimes the parking is taken up by people shopping at one of the nearby businesses.“

“I will say that I have never left a review with a restaurant before, but after the dining experience that my wife and I had we both agreed we would leave one. We went there for the Valentine dinner for two and we were absolutely satisfied with the quality, the presentation, and the taste of our meals everything was served hot and cooked to perfection. The flavors that the chef prepared for each of our meals were amazing. Every course we had was perfectly paired with the wine that they suggested as well. We would highly recommend this place for a date night or just a night out with friends. It is a hidden gem inside the gateway center.“

“The customer service is wonderful. My grandma regularly ate here before she passed a year ago. She always remembered the servers even when she was struggling with her dementia. I went there recently and ordered what she would normally order and the servers fondly reminisced with my family and I about her. Very thankful for the staff here!“

“This place could definitely be our local drinking hole. Yet we aren't big into going places and just drinking but maybe here. We like the atmosphere and the pool table is a huge plus for us. Our waitress was amazing, Danielle I think my husband told me her name was. The pizza was amazing, the fish tacos not so much didn't finish them, but the pizza was great and the drinks were amazing as well. So we'll definitely be back for drinks and pizza and even carry out pizza to home. We are a mile away so win win lol“
