“we celebrated our anniversary today and our server was Melissa and she went out of her way to make our special day one to remember. She was so attentive and told us some history that we didn't know. An outstanding server. Kudos to the chef who cooked my steak to perfection along with great veggies/baked potato. My wife very much enjoyed the pot roast dinner. thanks again staff for a great meal.“

“i met my daughter in law and granddaughter there on sept 3, around 11. first time for me the place was very busy but we only had to wait a few minute to be seated. the waitness was great and and food was fantastic. i like reuben so when i go to a new place i will order 1 i would give a a+ for the food and the service . yes i will go back. thank you sandy loop“

“Highly recommend! Stumbled across the BEST gluten free cheese bread that I’ve ever had! If you are gluten free you know what a struggle it can be to find something that can make you forget you’re eating gluten free. The antipasto salad was also incredible.“

“Great service and great food. The specials are always creative and interesting. Atmosphere is super casual. On the bar side there are plenty of huge screens, but there is also a dining room side that doesn't have all of the distractions if that's what you're looking for. Prices are very reasonable and portions are large.“

“We sat out on the patio for dinner and it was warm and cozy. We have never been there before so we asked the waitress for her recs on appetizers. The Carne Asada Fries did NOT disappoint! My hubby liked the fish tacos and the rice and beans had so much flavor! Service was amazing and the food was great! Will definitely go back for more date nights.“

“Everything we've ever had to eat at the Deer Lake Inn has been Very good...We especially like the fresh bread, the 306 Salad, Martha's Vineyard Salad, Fish Tacos, Chicken Tortellini, Chicken Pineapple Sandwich and the Pizza! YUM! SO Good!“

“My wife and I used to go to the Sterling Heights Restaurant and loved it very much. Especially their pizza! We ran accross the Clarkston location about 3 years or so ago and have taken many family members and friends there. Unfortunately, they won't serve their larger family size pizza to inside diners. They only serve it to carry out clients. Several times, especially after we were given back our freedom, we were making plans to go to dinner with friends for pizza and I suggested going there. My wife reminded me they only serve personal pan pizza's. Unfortunately, they do not taste the same. So, we choose Pizza Mia in Grand Blanc when we wan't pizza. We do go to Boligna's when it isn't a pizza night. Unfortunate!“

“This is my go-to bar/restaurant in the area. The wait staff is friendly, attentive, and they hustle. Food is tasty and consistent, with a special shout-out to the best seasoned fries I've had in a long while... shoestring, always served piping hot, crunchy on the outside w/ a soft potato-y middle, and generous amounts of seasoning. They have a great tap list, and their taps are always clean, so you're drinking the beer as the brewer intended. Don't be discouraged if the parking lot looks crowded. It's bigger inside than you'd think, and a lot of those cars came with one person who is sitting at the very large bar. I've never had to wait for a table. Love this place!“

“Great Place. My complaint. NO BLUE CHEESE DRESSING. I Had Chicken Strawberry Salad once a week. Every now and then since they quit serving Bleu cheese. Never after today when We asked the server who to address our concerns to, 2 servers pointed to the owner who picked up our plates and pretended he couldn't talk English. RUDE“

“Everything was good. Service ,Food. I'm just a bit confused tho. You walk in it looks like a Lodge. Very nice wooden Bar with many taxidermy works displayed in a log cabin feel. You walk past that into a side room, and your in a 60 and 70s displayed poster room of music posters. And past that room back to a lodge feel with high cielings and wooden cieling beams. They did have what looked like a nice outdoor seating area open during warmer weather.Everything was Great just not sure about the music room.“

“The food was delicious and exactly what I've come to expect from Tubbys. My food was made quickly after I ordered it so it was piping hot. Do not pop a fried mushroom in your face when you get to the car, you'll regret it immediately. It was delicious though, so it was kind of worth it.“
