The owner/cook was so friendly and professional..you can really tell he puts his heart into the food. It’s a small local business, and if you’re someone who loves supporting places like that (especially when the food is this good), I highly recommend giving them a try!“

“The event space is so cute and cozy. We loved how warm and inviting it was. Very cool, down to earth place. My absolute favorite thing is that you can bring your dogs inside! Oh, and the fire pit outside is pretty freaking cool! There were so many different options of beer, my husband got the sweet cider and I got the Kombucha (which has no alcohol) and it was delicious! My brother in law got "the farmers daughter" and also a pint to take home! Pizza was yummy! They didn't skimp on the salad toppings♥️“

“I’ve had more positive experiences here than negative, so I can’t say I don’t recommend Little Joes. But tonight was definitely an interesting experience that’ll make me dine elsewhere next time. Waiter was new or just didn’t care, by far the worst service I’ve had there. The fish was bad or overcooked and they told us that it had been noticed earlier in the day by someone on staff. They comped those meals but then disappeared. We waited at the table for over fifteen minutes and had to go to the kitchen to get a staff member to get our bill. Walking out, we saw him outback of the restaurant smoking or hanging out with other staff. Pretty crappy they couldn’t wait until their tables were taken care of given it was minutes until closing. Staff here used to be awesome.“

“The food was excellent. We had Gra Pao Gai (basic chicken), chicken pad thai, crab rangoon and a spring roll. Spring roll needed some meat. Pork maybe. But it was buttery and crispy. The crab rangoon had great flavor they had a little too much crispy edges or broke some off and put it on top of the pad thai but the flavor inside with cream cheese was delicious. Chicken pad Thai was medium and it was on point with what you'd expect it had some heat but it didn't blow your hair off. The prices were Fair. The portions were enough to eat twice unless you wanted to just get uncomfortable. Haha. I will definitely order here again I want to try the red curry. We ordered doordash so I don't know what the inside looks like. There are a couple of alternatives in the area but I've tried them and I think I prefer this place over them especially when it comes to price and portion.“

However, just last weekend we had to place a large catering order for my rehearsal dinner and I just wanted to share our great experience! Our friends and family loved the food. “My favorite place to eat in Ortonville! The family that owns this restaurant is just wonderful. I can't count how many times we've eaten here, and every part of our experience has been fantastic every time. I try something new each time I order, however, I've never ordered anything but the Mexican cuisine (the cheese chili rillenos are my favorite) . Recently I saw a comment on a local FB page bragging about their Greek Salad, so I ordered one. The salad was put together beautifully, but the dressing!!!!.....omg the dressing was IT! “My husband & I stopped in the other night. First of all, our server, Liz, was so pleasant and even found a coupon for us to save us money on our bill. I ordered the stacked ham & cheese on Texas toast. It was so good. The toast was grilled perfectly, giving it great flavor. The cheese fries are to die for. We also had the mozzarella cheese sticks for an appetizer. I loved the crunchiness and flavor of the batter. Their homemade chicken noodle soup really hit the spot on a chilly night. “Comfortable family place that's been around since 1974 serving up tasty Italian dishes and pizza a little West of I-75 just South of Flint. Large parking lot. Great for couples, family or groups with 3 separate dining rooms. Good pizza ( I'm a Chicagoan who knows good pies) and great Italian dishes featuring a zesty marinara and plenty of cheese. Especially like their baked pasta dishes which are served in generous sized portions at reasonable prices and are accompanied by either soup or salad. Another plus is a fair assortment of craft beers on tap. Can't comment on desserts as even taking leftovers home, we're always too full to order any.“

Excellent food. Got the 18” super steak with mushroom and onion. Get extra cheese, salt you wont regret it. Wife had veggie sub. Grille veggies can be hit or miss. Only regret is not getting the 18”, because she said it was the best veggie sub she’s ever had. 10/10. We were visiting from Iowa and can’t wait to eat there 4-5 times when we’re back in December.

Also, employees working were super friendly and helpful.

“My daughter and grand kids took me to Dom's Diner for "Mother's Day" on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Everyone's food was great. My daughter had fish and fries, one of the grand kids had the alfredo with shrimp and chicken. My other grand son had chicken and fries. The youngest had mickey mouse pancakes with bacon. It was the first time I tried chicken and waffles, they were delicious. The waitress went above and beyond, and you can't find this time of service everywhere..“

“I placed excellent job. The same order was placed June6, 2023 and again June 8, 2023. One order June 6th was superb. The order and chef did an excellent job. Time of order 11:08 A.M. On June 8th the time of the order was 12:53 P.M. The brisket was not tender the chef was stingy on the chicken, all in all the package was not worth $49.82 Whoever the chef was June 6th give him a raise. I cannot say the same for the order Feast for Two for the chef that served it.“
