“Okay… Here’s my personal review about Soul Goode Food Truck! I have relocated to this area and the restaurants aren’t anywhere like Wayne County restaurants. I came across this foodtruck and I smile when I see a Facebook Post the day it will be open! The staff is friendly. If you have a question about their food they will answer it. I have been eating here for awhile. My absolute favorite is the catfish and collard greens and cornbread and caramel cake. I have not found any restaurant within 60 miles that comes in close comparison. I had a friend that came with me and they have an allergy to seafood. He didn’t want to order anything because some restaurants use the same grease for chicken and fish- not Soul Goode Food truck! He was happy to hear this and ordered. I wish it was open more! Trust me I’m serious about my food but definitely give this place !!! I never took a pic of my food bc I’m busy eating lol but I will next time and share. If you want good food and good customer service this is your food truck to go to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Everyone knows Starlite is great. Thats why they're the last ones standing. Flint used to have so many restaurants, most were good. Over the years they have all closed but Starlite still stands and expanded! All their food is excellent! My favorites are The Big Sicilian and The Butcher's Chop Omelette. If you haven't been to Starlite, you're not from around here and I strongly recommend you stop in for a meal!“

“First time coming in and definitely wasn't disappointed we both had the Patty Melts with fries. Fries cooked to perfection and the 1/2 pound patties were absolutely amazing. Thanks again coming in next time for the build your own burger.“

“If you're a group of people, you'll get decent service. If you're there alone you can forget good service. The food isn't bad but definitely wasn't brought straight out when done.
There are no options for appetizers if you're alone unless you want too much. And, of course, they're not usually good reheated. Single dessert options aren't much better, not that my waitress offered any to me.... she did offer dessert to the group next to me, though.
Basically, if you're out relaxing and dining alone and want good service, this is not a good place to go. Don't expect anything more than the bare minimum here“

“Finally I was able to go and try the Philly steak, egg bagel sandwich. And the hype was not a lie. Meat was seasoned perfectly, onions, green peppers, scrambled egg for me (but you can get it fried as well), and Swiss cheese. I was full and satisfied. My friend ordered the steak and eggs. We've gone to other places and they can't seem to make a medium steak, but she cut in and the delight in her first bite was all I needed to see. She also enjoyed the hash browns and she never likes them from anywhere. ? My daughter got tenders and chili cheese fries which she destroyed ?. The waitress was kind and attentive, the environment was nice and laid back. I'll definitely be returning to come for some breakfast specials and another bagel sandwich?“

“I walked inside, and the greeter/waitress said, "Sit anywhere you like. I sat down at a booth. Looked around and noticed it's a nice big restaurant. Lots of counter seating. Table tops. Booths.
The waitress greeted me and handed me a menu. She came back and took my order, a glass of water with no ice, veggie omelet, toast, and 1/2 order of hash browns
She dropped it off. Tasty breakfast!

“This Applebee's is our go-to Applebee's! The place is always clean & organized. Service is great & they are accommodating for dietary concerns. The food is always served hot & tasty.

“Pot roast sandwich came to me with a soggy bottom bun, meat was delicious. Hamburger was not as ordered, but once onions were removed it was acceptable even without the lettuce, mayonnaise and tomato it was ordered with. Root beer float was a small root beer with one very, very tiny scoop of ice cream, quite disappointing. No ice in the drink dispenser. Not catastrophic, but not good. Obviously an "off" day for them.“

“My server was Sean, he was phenomenal! Very clean restaurant! Food was stellar! I had 3 cheese chicken pene and a chicken quesdia for my appetizer! I signed up before i came out to eat, I received my appetizer for free!!!! The only appetizer you can not get free is the sampler appetizer! But still, it took 2 minutes! Absolutely worth doing! They have updated their menu, there's a lot of new chicken sandwiches! New prices on a lot of meals! They do have excellent alcoholic drinks and excellent prices if that's your thing! “Nice place, good food. Small mix-up on food but the server noticed as soon as she came back. Immediately apologized and fixed the mistake. Ordered a burger in lettuce wrap she then asked if we were gluten free. Said she was just making sure since we ordered no bun. Great question in my opinion. Will definitely eat there again.“

The other people walking out at the same time we were, said they wouldn't be back either. Made me feel better because I thought it was just my family that was unwelcome. “My son and I had a great pre-show dinner last night at Churchill's: the calamari appetizer is some of the best I've ever eaten and we enjoyed our Michigan salad (me) and bourbon burger (him). It will definitely be my go-to spot for any future shows or events I attend in downtown Flint.“

“This was my first visit, so I had to order a number of things from the menu. It all sounded good. I ordered fried pickle spears, a soft pretzel, and a breakfast burger with upgraded fries to poutine. The pickles were good. The batter needed a little more seasoning, but the homemade ranch was good. I would order again. The pretzel was good with beer cheese that had a kick. The burger was amazing, perfect, and a house made patty, not a preformed frozen one. It was great. The poutine was good, a little salty, but I would get it again. I'm not sure if the fries were pre-salted or if the gravy was just salty. I would get them again. My friend got the grilled cheese, which was on a nice light bread that was toasted perfectly and plenty of melty cheese. I look forward to the next time I am in Flint, trying other items on the menu. Service was great as well, fast, friendly, and got everything right. I give props to who was in the kitchen on Saturday, September 7th, in the afternoon. The food was amazing and out quickly. “Look, they don’t have a Michelin star, it’s a diner that serves quick service, mostly fried foods. That having been said, I thought the quality of the food that I got was better than average for this type of establishment. What was exceptional was the wait staff; they were young, yes, and not very socially adept yet, but they were attentive, friendly, and took good care of me while I was there.

They were also overly concerned that I intended to walk back to my tractor trailer a little over half a mile at 10 o’clock at night, but suggested that “old people like me“ probably would not be targeted as much as the younger generations. That’s the first time in my life I’ve ever been called old, and it gave me a laugh, so five stars ladies.

Well, young whippersnappers, if you ever read this, I made it back safe. Oh, lest I forget, order the carrot cake. It’s more frosting than cake, and it was divine!“

“My mom and I went to Jacobsen's on a Friday night for drinks and loved the atmosphere of the place! The owner came and introduced herself to us and was so kind we had to come back. We went back that next Monday for some food and had a great experience!! My mom got a burger (which she loved!) and I got a turkey wrap which was great! Portions were large and food was pretty cheap! We will definitely be back :)“
