“I have a great time when I go to Joe's. I enjoy playing some pool and I have ran into a lot of good players and honest players in fact. The drinks are well worth the price and the bartenders are been very polite to me. I drive from lansing to burton it's about a hour.. hour and 15 minutes depending on traffic. But you should stop bye on the weekend and see for yourself they have karaoke in the back room. And in the bar the jukebox is playing and the pool table is in there as well as a few other games. I have been there a dozen times and every one has been polite easy to talk with. No complaints from me and I am going back to enjoy myself again for sure.“

“I came in with my husband for dinner, and I just can't say enough about how great our experience was! The bartender Leah was great and super knowledgeable, and the draft beer was nice & cold. We started with the Gulf Shrimp Gratinee, followed by the Nawlins shrimp pasta and a jalapeño popper burger, and couldn't resist taking some cheesecake home. Everything was so delicious, and we can't wait to come back again!!!“

“My mom and I went to Jacobsen's on a Friday night for drinks and loved the atmosphere of the place! The owner came and introduced herself to us and was so kind we had to come back. We went back that next Monday for some food and had a great experience!! My mom got a burger (which she loved!) and I got a turkey wrap which was great! Portions were large and food was pretty cheap! “This was my first visit, so I had to order a number of things from the menu. It all sounded good. I ordered fried pickle spears, a soft pretzel, and a breakfast burger with upgraded fries to poutine. The pickles were good. The batter needed a little more seasoning, but the homemade ranch was good. I would order again. The pretzel was good with beer cheese that had a kick. The burger was amazing, perfect, and a house made patty, not a preformed frozen one. It was great. The poutine was good, a little salty, but I would get it again. I'm not sure if the fries were pre-salted or if the gravy was just salty. I would get them again. My friend got the grilled cheese, which was on a nice light bread that was toasted perfectly and plenty of melty cheese. I look forward to the next time I am in Flint, trying other items on the menu. Service was great as well, fast, friendly, and got everything right. I give props to who was in the kitchen on Saturday, September 7th, in the afternoon. The food was amazing and out quickly. I will be back.“

“I have so much fun at this bar. You can always count on the regulars to make you feel a part of the family. Very affordable alcohol and food prices. One of the best burgers in town. For $5 dollars you can get a burger chip combo. Caring atmosphere. This bar has come through for so many patrons, raising money for funerals And fundraisers after accidents. Other dinner food is OK, but portions to price aren't the best on other items.

I'm giving the omelet a shot this morning, so I'll post an update.
It's mainly a takeout spot for us since we don't drink, but I bet if you're drinking, it'd taste even better ?
Service as far as pick up goes is good don't know much about dine in that's why I gave it 3 stars.

Update:
The breakfast was really good and affordable.
The homemade toast was great. The omelet was perfectly portioned, and the hash Browns were good as well.
My gf had a breakfast sandwich that she said was really good.
We'll be ordering breakfast again for sure.“

“We. Just recently found Franks's Hoppy Bistro, and have been back twice in less than a month (from Goodrich). The second time, we brought 4 friends and they loved it too. Food is great, owners are friendly, and we loved the trivia/name that tune also!“

“Stopped in for date night wanting to try the viral mozzarella sticks and they did not disappoint! Our waitress, Mia, was amazing. She kept our waters full, and came around multiple times to make sure everything was to standard. The managers also checked on us a couple of times which was wonderful!
