“Breakfast at Shirley’s is always a great experience! My hubby and I go there often. The moment you walk in, it feels like family. The atmosphere is friendly and the decor reminds me of my dad 🥰 whom I miss dearly. It’s like the show CHEERs—a place where everyone knows each other. I cannot speak highly enough of the serving staff and the nice young man that clears and sets up the tables. The food tastes like true home cooking, made with care and attention. Everything is made fresh and made to perfection. You can really tell that a lot of love goes into every plate. Thank you to the amazing kitchen team working behind the scenes! If you’re looking for a cozy breakfast spot that feels like family and serves delicious home-cooked food, Shirley’s is definitely the place to go; you will not be disappointed. “Made a few stops in the Linden MI area and decided to enjoy lunch before heading home. This vintage hotel has a nostalgic feel with old fashioned wood paneled walls, bar and stairway. Lunch was a wonderful surprise from the home baked sandwich breads to the creamy cheesy broccoli soup. The waitress was very attentive and gracious. The food portions were simply perfect for an afternoon lunch and the prices were totally reasonable. Hight satisfied and highly recommend!“

“on a Monday morning at 7 am the place was packed but you wouldn't know it Jamie the owner made time for everyone in there i got the special country fried steak breakfast and some baked goods to go and it was all well seasoned and fresh.

“Culver's in Fenton is wonderful! The employees care, the food is good - it's a pleasure every time we go (which is often). They try really hard to make sure the guests are happy. Highly recommend this location. I can identify various employees but there are so many that we've gotten to know who are phenomenal. Keep it up!“

“Have come here several times for business meetings and have not been disappointed. Usually I get the fish dinner, but this last time I tried the liver dinner. The fish is always good, but the liver was over done and a little chewed. The service is always great and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely continue to use them as they are also very conveniently located.
Tonight had the veal cutlet dinner with a baked potato. Excellent and brought half of it home. And our waitress was supberb.
Today I had lunch there with some colleagues. I got the reuben sandwich and it was good. Very generous with the corned beef. And, as usual, the service was exceptional.“

“Food was great, but service was poor. It took way too long to be greeted by a server, she would then disappear for long periods of time. Also, we didn’t receive the promo envelope as advertised at the end of our meal and gave up waiting for her to return to ask about it. We will probably return because the food and beer was delicious, but we will remember to sit by the bar in order to be more visible to the inattentive waitstaff.“

“My husband and I went to Applebees last Monday after getting married to celebrate with family and friends, everything was wonderful! We had been in contact with them for about 7 weeks leading up to it!

They had a section blocked off for us, the servers and hostess were so kind, and everyone enjoyed their food!!!

“I had a WONDERFUL experience tonight! The food and service was fantastic (The wings were beyond delicious and everyone else in my group enjoyed their food too). Our server Nick was very attentive and was quick with refills and had a fantastic personality. I was also impressed that I ordered food for 5 people including 2 appetizers and it was only a little over a hundred, I pay more than that at Applebee's and the food isn't half as good. The band playing was incredible (I'm biased haha) and the DJ afterwards played great dance music! I can't wait to go back! Highly recommend! 10/10“

“My grandma and I came in for lunch and the food and service was good, but what stood out to us was the host/cashier Angel. She was running around doing the job of 4 people all while keeping a smile on her face and having phenomenal customer service. It was clear she was under a lot of stress but she remained calm under the pressure. After noticing how busy she was, we patiently waited to checkout and couldn’t help but tell her that she was doing a great job. which was something that clearly she needed to be told!
