We had a group of 7, 4 adults and 3 kids. Our server was well-experienced and wisely served the kids first. Those had ribs claimed they were as good as any they've ever had. Those that had steaks shared that they were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. I tried the Fried Icelandic Cod. It was tender and covered in an excellent batter. This my first time at the Fenton Hotel and Tavern for my grandpa's birthday. The room we reserved was pretty cold but the staff were very attentive. The walleye was cooked perfectly but it needed a sauce to go over the fillets. The scalloped potatoes were cubed and didn't have much flavor. Overall the experience was decent and I would go back.

The food is a cut above. Wonderful atmosphere with a terrific staff. Had Easter dinner, and it was wonderful. I would highly recommend dining or just stopping by for a cocktail. Terrific experience.We had the prim rib and pecan encrusted whit fish.
