Hermann's Café Restaurant

We were looking for a spot to have a nice lunch on the way up to Interlochen Arts Camp and we stumbled upon this place and were happy we did. We wanted to get the kids one last good meal before a month and a half of camp for and this exceeded our expectations. My daughter and I split the chicken and waffles and a burger and both were great!

I am writing this review 8 years after our meal here — because I haven’t stopped thinking about it ever since!My husband and I were on a road trip and hungry for lunch, so we took the nearest exit and landed ourselves at this cafe in this tiny Michigan town. So excited to write this review. We have traveled to many places, but have never had a REUBEN sandwich like this. IT was so flavourful that my husband and I couldn’t stop talking about it. The attached fries were hot and plentiful. The sandwich was generously layered with quality corned beef. The presentation of the food was generous and plentiful. Let me sum it up this way.
