Haven’t actually made it to her restaurant. But I did attend the pasty fest this weekend in Calumet. Had a delicious pasty from Jen‘s kitchen while there. Best pasty I’ve had in a long time. I’m definitely stopping at her restaurant next time. I’m in the area!
Lots of options, simple but customizable menu. Everyone here is so nice. My go to for a work lunch when I forget to pack something :) can't go wrong with a classic soup/salad combo
What an absolutely wonderful place. I was helped immediately and all of my questions were answered so well and kindly. I felt welcome and appreciated.
My first pasty! Savory. Filled to the brim. A complete meal. Delightfully warm even after I got it home even after a 2 hour detour (an ode to its original purpose). A flaky but strong crust then held together and never failed me. I was very happy.
