Owner was very friendly, nice and has multi tasking mastered. Burger was exactly what I was looking for and the fries were AMAZING. Fries alone are worth the visit. Fun quickly small town bar atmosphere roomy inside and welcoming.
Had the Reuben sandwich which was excellent. My only negative is that they must be the only bar in the UP without any tap beer. Canned beer was good but very expensive at $5.50 each. Thats $30 a six pack; come on.
I’ve been a part of this bar for over 14 years. The people are always welcoming of a good time and new faces. The food is great (if it wasn’t I wouldn’t have gained 40lbs over the years) plus my old boss was a food connoisseur so he knew exactly what he wanted in his kitchen there. No matter what kind of a day I’m having I know I can go there for support or just to have a good time. Great atmosphere.
