“My husband and I had dinner at La Catrina’s while visiting Houghton. It was a great experience. The service was excellent. The food was delicious, and even the presentation was outstanding! I had the chicken and spinach burrito and my husband had chicken fajitas. We shared the fried ice cream. I highly recommend checking it out, they are just a few minutes from downtown and very easy parking.“

“Best Detroit style pizza ever. Crispy cheese on the edges. Slightly chewy, very flavorful bread. Delicious with high quality and often locally sourced ingredients? I'm not sure how they pull it off. They have the most creative and surprising specials every week. Their toppings have singlehandedly introduced to me many new culinary delights that I didn't even know EXISTED until I had them on one of these specials. Their standard pizzas are incredible to boot.“

“Ok Zach (Zack? Zaq?) from The Ambassador in Houghton, Michigan… the Northwest passage drink you invented was phenomenal! 51k IPA mixed with LINIE Aquavit and an amazing lemon honey simple syrup… my wife stole my drink during lunch today. Food was good and the atmosphere was family friendly as well.“

“Went there always before as loved there spaghetti 🍝...today was dish of pasta...sauce minimal. Basically ate noodles. Also sprinkle of parmasan on top..no shaker on table for more. I was so looking forward to what I used to crave. $18 of noodles not ordering again. 😔...i will try something else next time. Waitress was very nice. So that was saving factor of returning again for another try.“

“This place was fantastic! I have allergies due to my Lyme Disease and it's really hard for me to find food I can eat when I travel. These ladies were so nice and so sweet! They specially made me my breakfast. It was so delicious and filling and the prices were great. The atmosphere was great and very open. It made me feel like a kid again with my family cooking in the kitchen.“

“Absolutely Spectacular!!! We were told to pop in by a couple of wonderful Shop owners in Calumet! Best pizza, our waitess was originally from LA and was awesome!!! The owner was there too and really helped cement a wonderful experience!!! Definitely recommend!!! If there were more stars I'd add them too!!❤️❤️“

“I used to love mings but, I was sadly disappointed since they reopened. Started off horribly with our table having rice all over it right when we got there and the egg rolls are like half the size they used to be and taste like frozen grocery store egg rolls (they even gave me a little plastic sauce pack for them, that was a first 🤷🏼♂️) the crab Rangoons are now flat like dumplings and taste way different also. Me and my girlfriend got the General Tsos chicken and Sesame Chicken both came out within 15 minutes BUT, were somehow cold and soggy within that time and both tasted and looked exactly the same for some reason, hers just had sesame seeds on top and mine had red pepper flakes added to it. We left both dishes of chicken and took the rice which was the only decent part for 40+$.“
