We just had the best corn beef and cabbage jig dinner ever ! Large portions and the meat and veggies were super tender , you could cut them with a fork . Served with salad or coleslaw. The carrot was so huge and tender it took up most of the plate . Not those processed carrots most places use . Two good size potatoes and a huge chuck of cabbage. And a roll and butter . The cornbeef was also cooked to perfection . The owners Carmen and Tom are super nice and care for their customers...
The ½lb Angus burgers are outstanding. The onion rings are freshly homemade and are amazing. The service is fantastic. The exterior might scare most off, I get it. The inside is still very old school dive bar, but you do not need to dress up for every dinner out. This is trucker hats, blue jeans, carhartt, and wolverines.
