Wonderful service. The energy was amazing, almost as if you're one of the family. The food was great I was amazed at how good the ham and bean soup was. I swear I had a ratatoulle moment.
Four of us stopped for brunch on the Saturday before Memorial Day. We were greeted with a warm smile by the owner and offered beverages and menus immediately. Three of us ordered eggs and our birthday boy, 86 yo, chose biscuits and gravy. Everything came as ordered, hot and tasty.
This was my husband and my first time here. I asked about the biscuits and gravy, if it was sausage gravy. The sweet waitress said yes. I asked if it was ground sausage or links &/or patties cut up. She said they were cut up. I ordered a ham, cheese and mushroom omelet.
I prefer ground sausage because it has a great flavor and texture for sausage gravy.
Links and patties have their place, just not in sausage gravy...lol. IMHO.
