Kirsten was so fun to work with and helped plan the menu, and the whole team was incredibly flexible throughout the process. The food was delicious, and the banquet room had such a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Jody, the owner, was friendly, helpful, and offered great guidance along the way. Our waitress, Alecia (sp), was wonderful—quick to bring anything we needed and even helped carry all the gifts out at the end.

“I have always enjoyed dining here. I'm not much of a beer drinker so I can't speak for the beverages but the food is excellent! The staff is always very friendly. I miss the days of sitting and having the wait staff come to the table but I will still return as often as I can due to the great food and people.”

“Fantastic Olive burger! Dare I say best ever! Flame Broiled burger! Husband got Broasted chicken plate. Super good! 13 year old son got his own build your own burger. He said it was the best burger ever! He considers himself a burger condesur as many teenagers do. Best kept Cedar Springs Secret!”

“My husband and I absolutely love this place. Very friendly staff and fantastic food the owner actually comes out and interacts with his customers making sure everything is what they expected. This is a must go to restaurant. We have been to other Tacos El Cunados but they do not match up to this one!”

“Wow! I went back to the Big Boy in Cedar Springs after staying away for a long time, and guess what? It was way better this time. It felt like finding out Santa really DID bring you the good candy. The best part? They have a breakfast buffet. A real one! Those are super rare now, like spotting a reindeer in the wild. But Big Boy has it, and they keep it filled up with fresh food. The whole place looked cleaner too—nice floors, tidy tables, everything looking happy. On my first plate, I grabbed all the yummy classics: • Thick French toast with warm syrup (it tasted like a hug!) • A pancake with sweet cinnamon apples on top • Crispy bacon • Sausage links • Scrambled eggs The French toast was the star—golden and soft and perfect. The pancake was a little old, but the apples made it taste great anyway. The meats were tasty too, just not super hot. On my second plate, I went for the savory stuff: • Fried potatoes • More scrambled eggs • Polish sausage • More bacon and sausage • And then… SAUSAGE GRAVY ON TOP! (Yes, please!) The gravy was rich and peppery and made everything taste extra cozy. Some of the food was a little cool, though. And I saw a pan of cheesy hash browns that looked very burnt—like “left in the oven since last Christmas” burnt. The server was friendly and checked on me just enough—like a good elf who knows when you need more chocolate milk. All in all, this Big Boy is back to being a great place for a big, simple, happy breakfast. The buffet is fun, the place is cleaner, and the staff is kind. If they keep the food a little hotter and swap out old items faster, it’ll be even better. If you love breakfast buffets, this one is worth a visit. Smiling’s my favorite, and breakfast buffets might be my second favorite!”

“They were very busy so the wait time was technically slightly longer than the ETA when I placed the order. However, I have to say the quality of the pizza did not suffer as I've seen happen at other restaurants when things get busy - it was delicious!”

“I grew up during a time when there were still a few A&W's, my father had a convertible, he would slip the intercom on to our car as we bounced about in excitement to see the lady come out with our food & of course Root Beer floats in the A&W glass mugs 🍻.
Nostalgia brings me back & the Root Beer floats are still good!

It's a local business in town which complements other service's in Cedar Springs...now you can ride or walk on the Pine Trail and pick up some healthy and nutritionous wheat bread on your way back... Now I have a reason to visit downtown Cedar Springs .”
