Very good wines. Had a flight of wine. 3 were dry white and one dry red. All were very good, a surprising blend of Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay was very good. Hadn't been there in a while, was glad we revisited. Will not wait as long between visits.
A must stop on the Leelanau peninsula. Their wines were delicious, service was excellent and the people were so friendly and knowledgeable. This was my second favorite vineyard due to their high quality wines and our experience with Kellie. When we were leaving they recommended we stop at their sister vineyard, French Valley which also did not disappoint. They have live music as well!
Bel Lago is such a beautiful spot with stunning lake views and always amazing live music. My favorite part is seeing their garden in full bloom during the summer it’s absolutely magical. Their experimental takes on wines and delicious aged reds always impress, and it’s such a treat when Blake, the winemaker, pops into the tasting room (it’s so interesting to hear what he’s working on in the cellar).
