The staff are very nice and waitress was very prompt. But breakfast was awful. The waffle was good, but the omelette and toast was disgusting. The toast had a weird oily taste. The omelette was runny and had a burnt bacon taste. Tried scrambled eggs and that wasn't any better. I didnt eat the toast, omelette and scrambled eggs except for one bite. The manager discounted the meal by a few dollars. Didn't even come talk to our table. Waitress told us...
We are not from MI, but my sister & BIL are & suggested The Pantry. From the moment we walked in the door, we had excellent service! 3 different people brought us menus & flatware, water, and then our server appeared within seconds. We were waiting for my family to join us, so we engaged in meaningful chitchat for a bit while waiting. The food was hot, delicious, and prompt. If we lived in MI, we would go there often!
Fantastic breakfast. Omelets big and fluffy. Fresh fruit and great crepes. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Recommend. I must say, the blue berry compote is just water, so dont recommend that.
