About Libby's Downtown
Libby's Downtown Reviews
Food is on point compared with anything down state or west coast (of MI) which have a higher flow of tourism. Family keeps asking when can we go back or the youngest "Is there a Libby's down by us?". Sorry this is the one and only enjoy it while you are here as much as possible.
I was at an event this past Saturday that was catered by Libby's and everything they provided was excellent! The best crab cakes I've ever had! Very impressed.
Took my bestie out for a birthday dinner then the theater to watch the school high Cinderella musical performance last night. Both of us had never eaten here before. Everything was amazing! Drinks, appetizers, entrees, dessert and the staff! This is a very special place with some of the best food. Highly recommend the sweet potato taco.
Libby's Downtown is a phenomenal spot with an amazing bakery addition, offering a variety of pastries, muffins, cookies, and an açaí bowl bar. The restaurant serves incredible food, including the highly-recommended glazed doughnut with dual cherry vanilla filling and the best olive burger in town. The atmosphere is cute and cozy, making it a hidden gem in the heart of downtown. The menu features dishes like salmon Veracruz, which offers an excellent balance of flavors that enhance the salmon without overpowering it. The "tater tot" side is a standout, transcending typical frozen tots with its delicious taste. Portions are generous, and the food quality is top-notch, with some dishes like the Bolivian Mac n Cheese tasting even better as leftovers. The restaurant provides good service, a comfortable environment, and is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk to the Opera House. It’s clear that great care is taken in preparing each meal, making Libby's Downtown a warm, welcoming place with fantastic menus and specials.
