Tired…running on old reputation. Full menu with Soup, Salad & Entree. Salads are okay, “Famous” Onion Soup is a thing of the past. Bowl has been shrunken by almost 50% & Very Salty. Veal Scaloppine thicker than it should be, but still tasty. Shrimp Scampi decent but much better elsewhere. Veggie Side, Very Mixed Review. Decent & Respectable Wine List with very wide price range. Something for everyone! Good Service & Friendly Staff...
Wonderful food, realistic prices. We go here at least once a year for the past 30 + years. They accommodate our group of 7 non-drinkers (mostly) and serve food cooked to order. This time when we went, we were sad to see that restaurant had about a third of what would be the normal patrons for dinner. No band. Just great food. Are we in a recession or a depression for or is this just a changing of the guard from the boomers to the millennials and gen xers? So sad to see....
Older crowd, a bit dark inside but that is probably on purpose with an old school feel to it. The sirloin was cooked well but maybe a tad long on the sear. Tasty and the steak tip appetizer was tender and delicious. I enjoyed myself
