Worked late, tired...last thing on my mind is going home and fixing a meal. My solution...Great Lakes Family Dining in Clinton Twp. Folks, I gotta tell ya the food here is about as homemade as it gets. And the wait staff are the best. What impresses me is seeing the regulars, familiar faces who I see often because they know where to go for a tasty, REAL cooked up hot and fresh fare served quickly with a smile and never empty coffee cup or drink glass. My favorite is weekend breakfasts...

Great Lakes Family Dining is a solid neighborhood spot with a classic diner feel. The food was good and came out in a reasonable amount of time, and the portions were fair for the price. Service was friendly.
Nothing overly fancy, but it’s a dependable place for comfort food and a casual meal. We’d come back again when we’re in the area.
