The Baking Room is a cute little spot with delicious ice cream and friendly service. The area is small but clean, and the smell when you walk in is amazing. They offer affogato, which is delicious, and their coffee is also very good. The cinnamon roll, macaroons, pop tarts, and chocolate almond croissants were all delicious. Recently, they have introduced a version of the Dubai Chocolate, which has been well-received. Dollar scoop Thursdays are a hit with kids, and there are nice picnic tables and games outside. The pistachio cheesecake is to die for, and the pistachio latte has also impressed customers with its balanced sweetness. However, the removal of the $1 kid cones without notice and inconsistent pricing for items were disappointing. The Nutella poptart was hard, and the lack of offered warming or utensils made the experience uncomfortable. Despite these issues, the food is good, and the bakery is a great little place for lunch, with tasty options like the Italian grilled wrap and biscoff tart. Overall, while the atmosphere could be more welcoming, the quality of the food and the ability to create custom cakes on short notice have earned The Baking Room many compliments and repeat visits.
