Angie is barkeep and she can answer any questions you have.
Excellent food and service!!
Great spot! They have food, drinks, and a lot of different games
No air conditioning. We asked for water with our drinks and it was luke warm. Felt like they didn't want us there. Terrible.
Fun Times To Be Had...
Wait staff was horrible mor interested in their phones or talking than the customer.
Friend was charged with others bill and fought for two weeks to get refund and after admitting they were in the wrong was told sorry my hands are tied.
Will never go again
Went to watch my daughter play volleyball, and got a Blue Moon beer. They charged me $9.00. Charged me differently the second beer $9.54. Charged a girl on my daughter’s team $9.92. The bar staff were rude and wouldn’t close out our tabs. Overpriced, rude, dishonest and not great service.
Food is good, service is dreadfully slow, and the simulators are trash. The Niklaus one's putting wasted at least 20 minutes of our time (4 strokes to get on the green, 16 to get in the hole...Im no pro golfer, but geez I'm not THAT bad.) There has to be a better way when paying this much. So frustrating!
We were there 2 hours and saw our server twice, had to get our own refills from the bar and had to seek him out to close out. Just didn't seem interested in serving, like we were annoying him.
Asked for a facilities manager, they never came. By the end of the two hours we paid for we were just angry and thinking we shouldn't come back.
If you’re tired of the same ol’ dinner-and-a-movie routine, On The Dunes Sports in Commerce Township is like chucking monotony straight into an axe-throwing lane.
This place? A chaotic bar-meets-sports activities of friendly competition and low-stakes glory. You don’t need to be a pro athlete - heck, you barely need hand-eye coordination. Whether you're crushing on the sand volleyball courts or heroically whiffing at footpool, everyone's in it for the laughs and bragging rights.
Families mix with friend groups, solo warriors team up with weekend warriors, and tourists stumble into a scene that feels more local than a Friday night high school football game. The crowd’s chill, the staff’s laid-back, and the glow of arcade machines sets the mood for connection... or redemption after a particularly tragic bowling attempt (with a football, no less).
Add in some crispy sliders, a few high-fives, and maybe a game of street curling that’ll make you question all your life choices - in the best way - and you’ve got a recipe for an evening that’s equal parts quirky and classic.
Whether you live nearby or just wandered off I-96, On The Dunes gives everyone a shot at being a legend... or at least the MVP of their group chat. 🏆. Come here if you want to serve up the kind of night you’ll want to replay - and maybe brag about later. 🥇🍔💥
always a good time. not a huge volleyball player. but about to bee!

We hosted our high school’s 5-year reunion here over 4th of July weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better venue. The staff was flexible, helpful, and totally on top of everything, even with our mountain of decorations and packed activity schedule. The golf bays, volleyball courts, and game areas seriously elevated the night. The food was hot, on time, and got compliments all evening. Huge thanks to Adam for being so responsive throughout planning, and to Michael and his entire team for taking such great care of our vendors, guests, and volunteers.
Manager (hope he’s not the owner) does not care about single patrons or small groups, but rather sits and allows people to wait for service. Neglects customers, ignores people who sit down and lacks basic customer service skills. We have tried to give this place the benefit of doubt, but they obviously don’t care about every day customers and only those with big wallets. Unfortunately have to avoid this place…
Peaceful & Clean
Leagues are very entertaining
Baseball facilities and trainers are top notch
Rude staff that will constantly come up with reasons as to why you aren't following the rules
